Cool little local hangout for older crowds. Lots of girls night out in sight..everyone looked like they were having a great time. Drinks were good and the pizza we ordered was too. A great way to end the work week!

Busy time Friday night. It's always very loud there because we choose to sit outside. Excellent service! Polite and courteous staff! Because I'm single, I asked if I could sit at the large table with a bunch of guys and they welcomed me. When they left I found another large table with a few people sitting, I asked if I could join them. They were very welcoming and we had a lively conversation! I just love Dana Point!
Great social & eating spot. Good vibes always here. I’ve only experienced friendly service and warm welcomes. The restaurant has always delivered tasty, satisfying food & drinks. Personally, I only ask to sit outside on their patio at the tables with the fire pits, but the inside looks “vibey” too, especially when live music is playing. The live music draws a good size crowd given the space available from what I’ve seen. Sometimes I see friendly small dogs on leashes there, sitting or standing quietly by their friendly owner(s) on the patio, which is a nice bonus. Family friendly. Overflow parking is easy to find. Just go there if you haven’t been. You’ll probably want to keep going back ;). Fortunately, this quality restaurant with quality people and food exists in Dana Point. Love it. Spacious, good food, great outdoor seating. Great stage for live music. Lotsa TVs for sports viewing. Staff is always hustling & bustling around. Easy parking. Very good location, not too far from Dana point harbor.
Stillwater is a casual bar and restaurant scene where you can often find locals mixing it up. My wife and I generally go there for Taco Tuesday or when there are bands playing. There is both outdoor patio seating (which includes a limited seating square shaped bar) and inside (with a counter bar and table tops) where there is entertainment. Overall, the food is solid, but no exceptional. If you are in the Dana Point harbor area and you want to see a band play, it’s generally your best option. My only SERIOUS COMPLAINT with Stillwater is their policy of LOCKING-DOWN the interior portion of the bar several hours before they have a band show up. They may let a couple people stand at the counter bar (SRO), but you won’t be able to sit at a table and eat, therefore, you’re forced to either dine in the patio or not at all. We’ve encountered this situation several times before, and the other night we just moved on to another nearby restaurant (LUXE) where we were properly embraced as valued customers and had a pleasant dining experienced.

Great indoor/outdoor spot to hang out with friends and enjoy some really good food and drinks. They probably had over 20 tap beers to choose from, so something for everyone. Also had a full bar and spiked selzers on tap. Inside they often have live music, so that was a lot of fun. Great location a couple blocks off the water in Dana Point
