Dana Point is getting a face lift last several years and new cafes are opening. Maison Cafe is located in a strip mall where parking is not an issue. The interiors are simple, vibe is relax, service is very good and food is also great and plenty. We came as a small group and were immediately seated. Our waitress was attentive
I loved this place! we had brunch, Dutch baby and steak and egg, both were great. The staff were super nice. And I also enjoyed the beautiful paintings on the wall. Overall I’d recommend Maison Cafe :)
Place was hoping yesterday... lots of locals eating lunch/brunch at this place. The service was great (Alexis, I think), and the food was very good with great presentation. Items ordered: Jambun Cru, Chevre, French toast with bananas & berries, & Cavatelli. Most of us really enjoyed the food...One possible item for improvement: the Cavatelli (my dish) was very salty. I realize that dish contains sausage & cheese, but it seems like they added add'l salt which is unnecessary. Also, it would be better if the sausage was served in bite sized chunks rather than shredded.Only one photo to add..
Worth the wait. Dana Point is so lucky to have this amazing organic delight. The food is fabulous. Don't miss the Dutch Baby. Every server and all the employees seem so happy to be working there. And did I mention the prices? Very reasonable!
Went for brunch after a late night with a few too many cocktails. It hit the spot. Seriously amazing food and the best avocado toast I have ever had!! The potatoes; to die for. I couldn’t stop eating! Our friend who lives in Dana Point recommended it as one of their top 3 places you have to try and I’m so glad we did.
My favorite brunch spot in Dana Point and one of the best in all of OC. Really fresh and tasty food, great ambiance and excellent service.Loved the Dutch baby. The asparagus was so good. Love the tartines.Must come back soon.
Came here for brunch to celebrate my friends getting married and was not disappointed. We got the duck confit toast, gravlox avocado toast, salmon rillette, jambon cru, dutch baby and several lavender caramel lattes and one mocha. Everything was ABSOLUTELY delicious and great portions. Attentive wait staff and nice ambiance.
Typical trendy, hip, rustic, farm to table, kind of vibe. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the prices are appropriate for what you get. Went here just before the Sunday brunch rush and it was a decent experience. If you don't want to wait on a weekend, I suggest you try to arrive before 9am. Something that was a little weird was the burrata I ordered was more like a sauce instead of a relatively solid dollop of cheese. Still good though.Pictured: Burrata and a honey latteFood: 7/10Service: 7/10Experience: 8/10Value: 7/10
Delicious selections. Nice place for lunch and I hear the wine tasting dinners are wonderful. Loved being able sit "outside" yet still part of the interior. And the bouquets they had for $15. were a beautiful bargin! ?
Had lunch with family, at least six different meals and everyone was happy with their choice. I had the duck confit and my daughters both loved the Dutch Baby.
