Great bar and restaurant across the road from the harbour. So easy to find staff helpful and eager to help with finding the right drink for you with samples .food great and cooked super quick .Will make it my local if I was local

We stopped in on a what seemed a pretty busy Saturday afternoon. Thinking a head we made a reservation though Yelp about an hour prior. So when we showed up we we seated right away. That was a nice little bonus to the day for sure!Upon entry the hostess and staff where very friendly and super cheery.On this visit my lady and I both got the “Nashville Hot” chicken sandwich. I’m a lightweight, so to me it packed a bit of heat. My lady on the other hand seemed to not be phased whatsoever. I went with the regular fries and was in heaven. With a great crisp, these were made to perfection.Parking was a breeze with lot parking all around.If we’re back in Dana Point we’ll for sure stop in again.
Went to Jimmy's on Friday night mothers day weekend. The experience with the service was great as well as the food. I got a burger (The portabella mushroom one) and we also got the fish tacos. Everything tasted fresh and the seating was great. Would definitely come back.
Fantastic Burgers, views, environment, and service! Seriously GO HERE. The quality of the food was amazing! The chefs really know what they're doing and that shows in the fantastic flavors.
Jimmy's Famous American Tavern was a great place to stop for dinner. The fish and chips hit the spot, and Dana Point Harbor can be seen of in the distance, if you are at the right table. There is also a kids meal. The amount of fries was substantial, but good eating none the less. Our server was also very friendly and helpful.

I stopped here and got food to go. The dish was really good and the service was fast. The only recommendation I would make is even though it was a to go order, I did not get any napkins or forks. I was staying at a hotel and had no way to eat this, so I had to hunt down a fork.
5 stars all around. From the hostess staff to the waiters and waitress. Bar staff is amazing. Try the mocktails! We ordered the wrong food and they corrected. Amazing teamwork, friendly, efficient and quick. They really take the customer experience seriously and you can tell the management is really good with their team.
