Best Italian food in the country. Beats the stereotype Italian restaurants, hands down. Fresh flavors and a wonderful variety on the menu. A restaurant you must experience.
Placed an order online 1.5 hours before closing. After confirming the order they canceled after 30 minutes. Don’t plan your night around Brio or count on them to follow through.
We visited for a wedding reversal dinner. Brio is not to be confused with the chain. The food is fresh, very tasty, generous portions. The environment vibes of an Italian bistro cafe, with live music to boot! Absolutely fabulous.

What a wonderful evening at Brio Tuscan Grill to celebrate my birthday. Chelsea was our server and what a wonderful person who was a delight to meet and very professional and accommodating.No evening is complete without visiting our favorite waiter extraordinaire, Claudio, a professional who loves what he does and the people that he meets. We started with drinks and appetizers which were superb. The four of us ordered our entrees and I had the Penne Donatelo which was a treat, the two ladies each had the linguine with Shrimp and my friend Dean had the pork chop entree. Everything was amazing as was the ambiance and wonderful jazz saxophonist who played a wide array of soothing and pleasant music. Chelsea then brought out some amazing New York Cheesecake and I was blessed by the folks with a birthday song. So nice! Pepe, who we have known for years and is an owner at Brio stopped by twice and then surprised us with after dinner shots. A wonderful person as are many of the staff at Brio. We did not get a chance to say hello to Enzo the other proprietor although had to mention him as this place is well run, great food, ambiance plus and people who care deeply about quality service and people.Thanks so much for an amazing evening and for always making us feel loved and like family.Highly recommend Brio Tuscan Grill in Dana Point and yes they do have a Happy Hour and entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Excellent staff and customer service! Especially to the petite woman who works the front. I'd call her a hostess, but between her customer service, sweetness, and pure hard work I feel calling her a hostess isn't her job description; she's a boss! Great vibes from everyone. Oh, and the food isn't bad, either. ? It's fantastic. Brava, Brio.
Had a great dinner with friends. Food was fabulous and the service was fantastic. We had Paul's meatballs, fish with a white wine reduction and a brick oven pizza with pepperoni and sausage. Everything was great and we look forward to going back.
