One of the best dbl.bacon cheeseburgers I've ever had. This will be my new go to in dana point. I will literally NEVER eat at the Carls.Jr.next door again, ? I've gotten my 2nd dbl bacon Cheeseburger since this review and it is literally just as good as the first time. Even looks the same. I love consistency. Do yourself a favor and give A's burger a shot.
The Gem of Dana Point. We need more Burger Joint like this in our neighborhoods.Ordered our food from the gal at the cashier, very attentive, smiling and very helpful. Few minutes later, our food was ready, nice and hot and exactly as we ordered it.Burgers are juicy, fresh and delicious. Fries were the thinner cut but well seasoned and hot and very delicious. I had the Oreo shake and it was really good as well.Cool ambiance, great service, delicious food. Go and check it out and oh by the way, their Mexican food is just as delish, overhead few tables around us saying how great their fish tacos were. Gotta get back and try their fish tacos next time

Delicious! Passing through and recommended by a friend to get their breakfast burritos - WOW! Paired it with a short stack of their fluffy pancakes. Tasty, quick service, affordable. And the staff was very friendly.
My daughter and I were driving up the coast last week, hungry from a long road trip, and decided to try A's Burgers in Dana Point. We usually stick to chain restaurants, but none were around. We figured this place must be decent because it's positioned right on the main drag, which I think is highway 1. Wow, this place turned out to be a great eating experience! The burgers were delicious and the onion rings are world-class. Will definitely return again soon.
I had the most wonderful experience at A’s Burgers in Dana Point! My entire class of special Ed students traveled to A’s for lunch this week and we were met with warm, happy, loving employees who showed so much character, compassion and patience to our students while we placed our orders. There were 16 of us and Garrett never missed a beat. He was warm and welcoming to all of our students and went above and beyond to deliver amazing customer service. Our food was quickly prepared which was greatly appreciated since waiting can be difficult for some of us. The food was tasty and totally hit the spot. Thank you to everyone at A’s burgers in providing such a memorable experience. You are all hero’s in my book. Hugs to all of you!J

Great, local burger place. The breakfast burritos are also a huge hit. The breakfast menu in general is solid. The zucchini sticks are potentially the best zucchini sticks you can get anywhere, and it is a huge serving. Those zucchini sticks come with ranch that is made in-house, and is equally supreme. Their salsa is also one of my favorites - I use it on my burger, as well as dip my fries in it. You really can't go wrong with anything at A's, and they'll have something for everyone in your party. I would choose over In-N-Out any day!
The food is pretty good for a simple burger stand kind of place. But (and this is just wrong!) the patty melt was made with sour dough bread! A "patty melt" requires Rye Bread. Otherwise it cannot be truly identified as a "party melt". They just snuck it in there. No description, so I assumed it would be a normal Patty melt. So disappointed! Shame on you A's Burgers! Otherwise, the regular burger was good per my husband. The fries were fine. The Shake was tasty. The service was okay. A bit pricey as well.All-in-all I think three stars is about right.
