I've been here twice and have had roughly the same experience. Both times I've walked in, there's no staff at all in the front. You order from the mobile kiosks that are pretty simple to operate. There's also an option to search for items instead of scrolling all the way through everything.I submitted my order and decided to just wait in the store. I waited at least 10 minutes for my two drinks. I completely understand waiting 10 plus minutes if the store is completely slammed, but within those 10 minutes, no other drinks were placed on the counter. I'm not sure if they were busy doing mobile orders, but I didn't see any other drinks brought out in the time I was standing there.The drinks don't taste bad, but the service is completely lacking. I'm not sure if it's an employee clicking completed order on their system, but I got a text 20 minutes after I picked up my drinks saying that my drinks were ready.
Awesome Boba shop and good vibes. The staff were singing in the back - cookin’ and groovin’ to Eminem (and then Brittney lol) when I walked in, which gave the atmosphere excellent vibes. I’d go back just for the energy. The Brown sugar boba was high quality with chewy boba, they were generous with their portioning of rice pudding, and the drink was sweet but not too sweet. Strauss milk too? …Killed it son, 10/10 boba shop.
We ordered a Fresh Taro with Brown Sugar Milk + added Brown Sugar Boba for takeout, but it wasn't properly sealed and spilled a bit onto the floor. After helping them clean up, they made a second one but they forgot to include the boba. Pretty bummed out :(Drink still good tho, taro was great.
Came to this branch around 20m before closing. We wanted to order the brown sugar boba and mango ice but they said they run out of ingredients for the mango ice. We settled for 2 brown sugar boba and it was great. Tasty and fresh. The crew are also quick and very nice. We are happy even if we did not get to taste the mango ice. We were bummed because we like In east bay and we don't have Truedan here. We will definitely go back when we are in the area to check the mango ice and of course for the brown sugar bobA.
Drinks at standard sugar were overly sweet. Straws, despite being eco friendly, did not let me drink my boba. Service was bias. No size options. I am SOOOOO FURIOUS with my order.

The jasmine green tea latte w/ oatmilk and boba (left) was so good! The jasmine green tea is better than yi fang and slightly stronger than teaspoon. Thai tea latte (right) was also delicious although they forgot to add boba ? but considering the cashier was under a lot of stress it was a 10/10
