I come here so often and I’m so sad that not a lot of people know about the spot. Their crispy golden tofu and coconut milk chicken noodles are the best around.
I ordered garlic noodles with shrimp, paratha, and samusas. I really liked the paratha and the samusas. I didnt like the garlic noodles , but to be fair, i prefer egg noodles (served here is like a wheat flour/pad Thai type noodle).Idk about the ambience, it’s definitely a hole in the wall, but the staff was very nice! I plan to try it again soon because i liked the spice/curry flavors.
Excellent. Chicken biryani was great. Coconut chicken soup (Ohn Noh Kaut Swe) was excellent. Nan Gyi Dok was good but was a bit dry and didn't have too much flavor so I mixed it with the chicken soup then it was great, also it was better after a few drops of fish sauce
Nice hole in the wall family run business serving serving quality food.. Definitely worth The Visit.. We ordered the tea leaf salad, pumpkin chicken curry, grilled fish, and garlic noodles. the tea leaf salad and garlic noodles were definitely our favorite.Service was great and we received our food very fast.
Food was ok not exceptional.
Food and service was good but portion size on the beef curry could of been better granted the price. We ordered three dishes and spent $30 per person after dining.
Taste of Burma is located very close to Gellert blv. you shouldn't drive to big parking where majority of Asian restaurants are located. There are over 50 different dishes in menu with dish pictures on wall and in menu. They have Burmese lager beer that was very good. Dishes are small and not very tasty although our selection doesn't cover majority options what they have. It got obvious that noddle based dishes are better than others. I ordered shrimps with green beans and it was not great. Service is great and fast and restaurant was practically empty during our meal
A family restaurant - delicious food, amazing hosts and intimate setting (their indoor dining is yet to open though).
I am I love with rice again !!! The coconut rice is to die for and the vegetables are so fresh and the place has an energy that will have you coming back .....
