I got the beef ramen, and it tasted horrible. The soup was alright, but everything else was bad. My stomach hurt right afterwards… It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had yet! Don’t go to this restaurant unless you want to feel lifeless for hours. The reviews are left mostly by people who don’t know the culture, which makes them misleading.
Love their Sushi! 49er Rolls ❤️ and Philadelphia Rolls as well❤️ ??Instagram: briellaattyx
The katsu tonkotsu is by far the best ramen. The noodles are amazing and it has a fantastic broth The leaves a lime taste and leaves you full for the rest if the day amazing. ?
Great food good prices
Other then the fact that this place is small, it shouldnt hold u back by any means. This place is legit. Food is great, service is efficient and pleasant. Prices are very reasonable for Japanese food. We come here all the time. They even have a food challenge! Highly recommend.
The environment was good and the food was so yummy and has a lot of ingredients. Highly recommended.
I use to go to this spot alot as a kid and teen and believe me when I say the food WAS delicious. After a few years of not going I went today and was HIGHLY disappointed. Waited an hour to get the food, portions are tiny, and it was NOT worth the wait at all. Definetly wasn't fresh, rice tasted old and they use a MICROWAVE to heat things up. Overall I can say I wouldn't ever come back.
A gem in Colma! The food, portion sizes, and prices are great. The owner is so sweet, I've always gotten great service from the staff when I come in. I almost didn't want to review them so I could keep them a secret but they deserve the praise. My very favorite Japanese place in Colma.
Ordering during COVID can be so hit or miss as far as quality and consistency. While this is my first time ordering, so I can't comment on the consistency, the quality was on par for the price! My friend and I ordered a crispy cream cheese roll, a cucumber roll, and a 3-option bento box with a fried rice upgrade (chicken katsu, California roll, and potato croquettes). It totalled $22 which is a steal! ? it would have only been $20 with the steamed rice instead of fried rice for bento. The crispy cream cheese roll was perfection. For only $4, I couldn't ask for a better "appetizer". The cucumber roll was basic and refreshing, just how I like. The ginger seemed like they pickled it in house because it wasn't as floppy as most store bought pickled ginger. My friend loved his bento box but wasn't the biggest fan of the fried rice. It seemed just like soy sauce fried rice, not much depth of flavor - according to him. (But he still ate it all ?) All in all, the staff was friendly, food was cheap, and the quality was just what I expected. I'll definitely be coming back
pretty standard sushi place in the bay area. i like it a lot
