I used to love coming here. It was recently renovated, but the place was a mess. The woman taking my order either didn't understand my order (or anyone else's) or was just programmed to up sell everything. I ordered two cheeseburgers with grilled onions and pickles and one order of fries. She asked if we wanted cheese; I said "yes, cheese on the cheeseburgers." She asked if we wanted fries; I said "yes, 1 order of fries." She asked if that was everything; I said "yes, and this is to go." She asked of I wanted a drink; I said "no thank you, that's everything." She asked if I wanted two orders of fries; I said "no, that's everything." Then she asked if I wanted some pie; I said "nope." She asked if I wanted a milkshake, and having already declined a drink, I was about ready to just tell her to forget everything when the guy behind me said "I think he's done ordering." The line was long, and she was asking every single person the same thing. Some dude ordered breakfast, and she asked if he wanted cheese on it. He was like "cheese? On the toast?"One cashier, one cook, one person assembling orders at noon. It took almost 25 minutes to get my order. The burgers did not have grilled onions, but they did have pickles. They were way overloaded with that sauce, and it just seemed slapped together. I had to take them apart to redo them, just so it was stacked well. This is when I noticed that the tomato slices had the stem part. Ugh. Huge pet peeve. The fries were horrible. I remember them being so good that I'd almost eat the entire order while driving home. These were soggy and cold, as if they'd been sitting on a plate for some time. I didn't even eat them. I just threw them out.I won't be back anytime soon.

My experience here was almost perfect except for the fact that I did not know they do not wrap their sandwiches and paper at this location however they give you your sandwich and a to go container and when you try to eat it it is the messiest thing possible to try to handle without the paper holding everything in place. Other than that the food was great however presentation and ease of handling was a little difficult.

I called for pick up their most famous breakfast plate which is 3 egger with extra cheese and hash browns at 5 am after I got off my work and went there to get my food. My order was 20$ then I tipped them 5$ cash then I drove home which is in a different city like 15 minutes drive from nations. I open my food and there was only hash browns in there. I paid 25$ For some hash browns.I called them to tell them what happened they told sorry they didn’t check my food cuz they were busy meanwhile they didn’t have one single customer in there besides me. I drove back all the way to Daly City and I dropped the food they gave me and I told them this what you charged me 25$ for and I left

Extremely rude staff. There are two Hispanic cooks here and every time I come in, they don't acknowledge me as a customer. Although they're rude and very unprofessional, I continue to buy breakfast here. I ordered Chili Cheese Fries, there was an error on their website, it said my payment didn't go through but the money was taken out of my account successfully. When I came in to pickup my order, I showed my bank account and even had the representative on the phone to tell them the charge went through and still, they were calling me a liar in front of other customers. I paid twice for my meal and not once did anyone say sorry or offered me a free side. I'll never come here EVER again!!! Please be careful when ordering online.

This is my go-to place especially when you work graveyard. This place opens early or is at least 24hrs. It's affordable and the burgers are huge and tasty. There pies are great especially the seasonal strawberry cheesecake. Food is ready in 15 minutes when ordering over the phone for pickup. I have been going here since high school. And now my kids are used to going here too.??

Nation's has always been a go-to spot in the Westlake area. They're open 24 hours and food is good no matter the hour of the day.Service is kind of slow because sometimes the cashier had to help cook or expedite food. I recently went and got a lettuce wrap cheeseburger and boy was it good!! Everything is piping hot because it's made to order, so definitely be prepared to wait.It seemed like breakfast items came out faster than our burgers, but wait wasn't too bad. I'd also high recommend the chili cheese fries!!Parking is plentiful!

Always busy, although busy in the restaurant industry is a good thing as it tends to usually lean towards good food, fun or pleasant ambiance, great prices or all of the above. If you chose "D" all of the above then you squeaked thru high-school the same as me by guessing right on those multiple choice tests. Also, busy doesn't necessarily mean slow because the staff here is on their game and tend to move things along nicely. Give it a try, what have you got to lose besides those hunger pains.

Ordered via phone, food was ready, reasonably priced and good. Sorry, I was so hungry I started eating poor to picture.

I love nations. I love that it's open late. I love their Chilli cheese fries. I love their blueberry cheesecake. The only cons is becareful when you order late. Sometimes they are lazy and they don't hook you up per usual. But I love them.

It was clean .. the staff was very courteous .. the efficiency was excellent yet the hamburger was tasteless. There was no distinguishing spice .. no flavor of the meat .. the bun was not grilled nor did it contribute any taste to the entree .. it was just a filler in my mouth. I didn't finish it nor did I finish the fries. Iff you just want to fill an empty gap in your stomach .. get a nation's burger .. otherwise pass on this place .. don't waste your time or money or dare disappoint your palate. *Things just ain't what they use to be.
