I am hella happy that Ling Nam finally reopened their restaurant at a brand new location, next to Manila Oriental Market! I am truly impressed with their extensive menu of my favorite Chinese-Filipino dishes. I opted for their Chicken Inasal and it was super impressive! The flavors blended well with the side of rice and added 2 eggs. My mom & I also loved their Tokwa't Baboy, which was not too sour and very crispy.Marilyn welcomed us with her charismatic personality and was very consistent and accommodating with our needs! We would truly come back again and bring our family & friends to our classic favorite.
We live in San Jose but we make dayo to San Francisco for their lugaw, tokwa at baboy!! Masarap!! I love it!! Especially the vinegar they use is good!! You can try to use goto as a substitute to their lugaw.
This is one of my all time favorite foods in the Bay Area. I could eat like 20 pieces. Butter, sugar and love packed into a small roll. Breakfast, lunch, dinner all good times for Starbread. Go get some and you’ll thank me later. Get 50… anything else is for the car ride home.
Best to eat this while it’s hot. Love this spanish bread Filipino style. They also have the Ube ice cream with Boba.
A place to be for the best bread and desserts. Freshly baked always. Starbread is the best. I never fail to bring some back to LA when I visit. Come and see what they have for you
Came for Starbread, stayed for the Filipino staple foods next door at Ling Nam. I ordered the Silog Sisig + Pork Chop combo with Garlic rice and it was extremely fresh and delicious. It is clear they take a lot of care in their food. The Sisig was my favorite so we had to get more for takeout. Bit disappointing that not all the desserts on the menu are available yet. Will be back again to try those.
This place is split up into Starbread Bakery and the Ling Nam restaurant. The starbread is soo good. The bakery also sells other Filipino sweets, but I haven't tried them yet.

Amazing warm starbread or senorita bread. Fast and hot, delicious with coffee. They sell warm empanadas, ice cream buko pies. Everything is great.
