They'll get you the food, whether it be super slow (had to wait 30 minutes in the drive-thru at the front one time.) or somewhat fast. But, recently, one thing they've consistently done OVER and OVER again is get my order wrong. Once in a blue moon, when every dice you roll is a 6, when you royal flush in a poker match, then they'll get the order right... by one of the burgers you order at least. Every single time we say no cheese, guess what? We get cheese. Sometimes they even put in the wrong order but swiftly correct themselves. Either they're working these guys to death or they're high 24/7 because not once in recent months have I gotten my order correct here.Try somewhere else?
Food is good. Just don’t get the breakfast burritos unless you like drippy messy gravy or sauce. Dine in ambiance could be better if they didn’t blare hip hop music from a cheap boom box in the middle of the restaurant. Felt so ghetto.
I was just here tonight and noticed it took a while In the line, got my food within 10 minutes and asked what the wait was about. Looks like they’re training a new cook, so if you’re reading this you have your heads up!The food however was perfect. Whoever that new cook is, they’re doing a great job, I was a little impatient at first but my spicy chicken and famous star were some of the best made I’ve ever had. Keep training that cook, or maybe let them take their time cause it was worth it
The service was terrible. It wasn't worth almost $60. Me and my boyfriend were the ONLY customers besides a Doordash driver and the staff looked angry that we were there. The workers also made the Doordash driver wait for his order because they just started making it! They messed up our order and forgot things. They also gave my partner an attitude when he kept going back up to them about our missing food and also said we had to pay for extra sauce?The first time I came here it was great. With this being my 2nd experience, I lost my appetite from that poor service. I don't know if the workers were new but I won't return.
After work on are way home to Santa Cruz we rolled through the drive thru. Service was great, super nice, and they did a good job with are food. Carl's has always been one of my fav,s. I like the barbecue sauce and the onion rings on their burgers.
Was visiting from east coast so stopped in thinking menu would be similar to hardees. Not the case. Need to at least add the Frisco burger and a hot ham n cheese then would've given 5 stars.
This place is shady! They will sometimes purposely charge you for things you didn't ask for or "forget" items your ordered and when this happens, they conveniently forgot to give you your receipt. Did I mention this is in drive through? I just came from there now and checked my bag before I left. They forgot a whole set of fries. When I told the girl, she grabbed my bag and took it inside, then gave it back to me. I then drove off assuming she fixed the problem. Nope! When I arrived home, they literally took my criss cuts and gave me regular when it was supossed to be both. No receipt to complain! How convenient for them. They also forgot my jalapeños that I paid for. I don't think this is an accident because it's happened only when they "forget" to give me a receipt. ALWAYS GET A RECEIPT FROM THEM! They will try to scam you if you don't!
The slowest drive thru ever. I'm pretty sure it's not the workers daylt. They're understaffed. You can be in line for 30 minutes easily, with only 4 or 5 cars ahead of you
I felt so terrible for the poor old overwhelmed Asian lady trying to single handedly run the show. Very mediocre fast food which cost more than a decent proper restaurant. I wonder why places like this are still in business. Just went there cuz we hadn't gone to a Carl's Jr in decades well turns out it sucked so never going back again lol
the two people at the back dont wear facemask while making orders. i believe the lady is the manager.and short staff. very dirty restroom and dining area.
