Went in at 830 was told by the manager sorry no more steak bowls for the night we close in 30 min ? Really no wonder there's a help wanted in the window. 1 st time here last time
Customer service needs serious improvement, they charge extra for sauce!!!!! No utensils available for customers, and they give you the least amount of onions and pickles.
worst waba grill every, the beef tasted nasty. my rice was mushy and clumped together while the other bowl had hard rice. cashier was rude and busy picking at her nails the whole time we were in there. cook was cooking and texting on the phone while people were waiting for their food. well contract corporate and want to get a refund.
Food was ok, not bad but not great. Service wasn't good at all. Their app says they have curbside pickup so I selected that option, entered my vehicle info only to find out they don't offer that service. When I asked why the app offers the service even though the store doesn't provide the service the employee seemed not to comprehend my question and kept repeating herself stating they don't offer the service.This place is ok for basic food but if you have any special instructions for the food or anything like that you need to anticipate they probably aren't competent enough to follow any special requests.
Nice staff. Quick service. The quality of the dark meat chicken was a bit iffy with too much fat and gristle. Maybe I will have to try all white next time.
I have always liked Waba and this is the location I go to but last Saturday I had the worst service ever. I ordered the salad with salmon and the young girl at the register was having trouble entering my order on the register. After a few minutes she moved to the other register and continued to have problems, so her solution was to ask me “do you have cash?”. After replying no she went to another young lady for help and entered my order. I then told her “can you please make my salmon with pink?” She went to the girl who was about to cook the salmon and came back and asked, “so you want it raw?” I said no just a little pink inside. She went back to the girl who then came to the counter and said “I don’t know how to make it that way”. To help her out I told her to cook it about the time she usually does and as she held the salmon in her hand she said “Im going to do my best”. I took my order home and when I cut a piece of the salmon I saw that it was just seared on the outside and raw inside, totally raw and cold. I cooked the salmon myself. They also did not give me dressing for the salad. It is obvious that these two girls need some training.
I came here on Friday to order two of the plant based steak bowls and a miso soup with tofu. Before I ordered, I asked the cashier if the miso soup would be vegan. Ive never seen such a poor confused cashier, and her answer was that the broth was water and tofu. She was freaking out, she finally just asked her manager next to her if it was vegan. The manager said yes, and just took over and charged me. Just found out that the miso soup broth is not vegan after all! The poor customer service was understandable, she just didn’t know and panicked. However, for the manager to flat out lie about something like that, is NOT acceptable and affects my health. I am expecting a full refund.
Purchased beef bowl and dumplings. Checked our bag for teriyaki, soy sauce etc., then asked girl for some, as she's giving it to us she sarcastically tells my husband he already has some in the bag, so he apologizes. Come to find out there were no sauces for the beef bowl or no dumpling sauce. Rude girls and dry dumplings...not happy!
I got the chicken and beef bowl. Meat is tender and not overcooked which is good. The girl working during the day was nice.
Love the ambience. It's clean and fresh. Very modern look (just opened in 2019). The quality of the chicken though is subpar. Ordered 2 bowls and it was mainly rice. Chicken was dry & flaky like it was microwaved and not juicy as another reviewer stated. For the price I expected more. They don't have Siracha (their own brand sauce either) and their carrots are bad too. Won't be back.
