Food was good, we ordered the combination pho, chicken wings and fries. However was disappointed that the weekday lunch special was no longer being offered despite it being advertised on the front window.
ordered to go at the end of the night. Maybe that affected the food quality. The food was bland and cold. Fries were hard and old or over cooked. meat was such a small portion and very chewy. Pho was bland and mostly noodles. I would not order from them again
I ordered the beef pad Thai and egg rolls to eat and the Vietnamese coffee to drink.Everything was ready very fast. I received my beverage within minutes. The food arrived maybe 5 minutes later. It's quite delicious. No complaints there. Great for a quick bite to eat. However, if you are looking for nice ambiance or to enjoy a conversation, I don't think this is the place. Music is good but a bit loud for conversation. This place suited me well as I was dining alone. They do have take out for those not wanting to dine in.
My sister took me to this place as she's had it before and liked it. She wasn't wrong. I quite enjoyed the service as well as the food, and there wasn't much bad about the experience or the food. However, I will say, for the curry, the menu said yellow and the curry I received was orange, so there was a little false advertising there, but I didn't mind too much. Other than that, rice was a bit stiff but tasted much better dipped in the curry. Also, my sister ordered the gochujang ribs and there didn't seem to be a lot and she said they put a lot for her when she ordered it to go.Other than those few minor things, I didn't have too many complaints. I just wish it wasn't so far. If I'm around Cypress I'll definitely swing back around. Pretty pleasant place.
Ate a late dinner here after we left Knottsberry Farm. We found this on Yelp and it had a good review. We enjoyed our dinner and glad that they were open late. It’s way better and cheaper than at Knottsberry Farm.
Another long, long while (if I go at all) before I eat there again. ☹️.Clean place. Good food. However, they said their chicken curry is boneless, skinless breast meat. So I ordered. NO!!! It was not. It was thin slices if dark meat, many pieces w/ grizzle attached. ☹️I called the young lady over & asked same question. Again, her reply was they serve boneless, skinless breast meat. When challenged, she said they only serve breast meat. Then I showed her every piece of dark meat I fished out of the curry. Her response was she was told white meat. Then turned & walked back to kitchen. No apologies, no asking if I would like something else, no offer of "go drop dead, lady", nada. As if nothing transpired. This was 2nd time there & 2nd poor experience w/them. Don't care how great their food is, in my book, not great enough to override attempt to pass false info & rude service. ☹️??
Another great gem to try especially on late nights! Their Ribeye Pho, Garlic Butter Wings & my ultimate fave… the Gyoza’s are the best!??? I can just eat the Gyozas alone with their Ponzu/Soy Chili Sauce! Their Salted Vietnamese coffee was also my fave when they had it. Great food & great price!
Food is good including a healthy selection of vegetarian food. If we live in the neighborhood, we would certain frequent the place. Happy Eating!!
the current price hike makes it a non starter, won't be back any time soon. 2 entrees, 2 starters, and a Thai Tea came to $56! for a fast casual spot that is just crazy! plus the quality wasn't what it used to be. Breaks my heart as I've been eating there for the past years.
First time here and truly comfort food. Attentive staff and excellent food. We had the House Combo Pho, Popcorn Chicken and Curry Rice. All 5/5... Definitely coming back and trying the rest of the menu.
