For some unknown reason, many Dairy Queens either don't have the right scanner or just don't want to bother being part of the DQ app based reward program. So good luck earning or redeeming your expensive rewards points. They should prominently display their lack of faith in the corporate marketing scheme so you don't surprise customers.
Great stop always! Lines can get long and tedious if you are craving during peak hours, but its always worth the wait to satisfy a sweetheart or tooth.Open late 10pm under normal circumstances.

We made the trip from Buena Park after Knott's Berry Farm as my grandkids wanted a McFlurry. I thought, "Why not have the original, The Blizzard from Dairy Queen!" My kids used to have Blizzards when they were small. It was a bit of a drive but my grands had never visited a DQ. I got them each a medium for $5 each. They loved them. Next time, a small size will do. As I mentioned, it was a bit of a drive, but worth it for their smiles and making a memory with them.

I came in to treat my grandchildren to an old favorite of mine, to see a young girl preparing ice cream with no gloves, scratching her head, wiping her hands on her apron, touching the rim of the cups where the customer may put there mouth on, and when I asked her, why she did not have gloves on she said because she washed her hands, I said well I've been watching you and I've seen you do several things that are not safe, and I'm concerned for our safety and yours, she looked at me and rolled her eye and proceeded to take another customers order. My issue is, this is still Covid and we need to be as safe as possible, especially while handling food. Not to mention, don't take it personal when a customer addresses a safety concern.
