I really don't like this place. It just has poor food flavor. Also the bathrooms are sick and I was scared the was a camera in their because of all the holes in the wall. Also they are very discrimitory their. One actually refused to give service even though I had money. Do not go there. It is so bad. Just do to another Mexican restaurant.
I go here pretty often since it's just down the street from my home. My family prefers Alberto's compared to the other choices in the area.My teenage daughter always gets the carne asada fries. I have to admit they are pretty good as long as you add sour cream and guacamole. My teenage son loves the cheese enchiladas and chili rellono plate comes with rice and beans. I'm pretty big on getting the carnitas plate. The prices are decent, better than taco bell and you get real food and large portions. The bean and cheese burrito is huge and delicious. The drive thru moves pretty fast.
HORRIBLE. Opened my al pastor fried and the first thing i see if a ling black hair. Im like whatever its a hair. Then i take a bit and i feel and taste RAW MEAT. then continued to find multiple pieces of raw meat. Im not one to take the time to write ANY review. But im pretty bummed out and upset i wasted my money on doordash to get food i had to throw away delivered to me. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. Never eating here again.
Been coming to this location since 1993 back when they were still called Alberto’s Mexican Food. Their salsa was so good we would drink it straight from the cup. Their "Carne Asada" burritos were made with real Skirt Steak and were made-to-order. Unfortunately over the years they’ve made some changes due to cost and efficiency. They now use a less expensive beef cut, pre-cook it, and place it on the steamer table.
I prefer Alberto's but even this place was just as good if not better. But all things change in time and unfortunately this is another casualty of either inflation or greed. The burrito I JUST ORDERED,WAS HALF COLD! The bottom of the bag that was placed in my hand was all warm and smelled pretty damn good. When I got to the pad,ready to dig in to my carne asada burrito I got the shock off not only was it half warm the cheese was clumpy,like they didn't even bother to have the sauce hot enough to melt the cheese. I remember the exact same thing just 1-2 years ago would cost $8.25 now it's $11-12!!!!! For that price I would prefer HOT FOOD,so now you know,buy at your peril. These guys have it made being next to a college campus they'll always have customers. Even though I live by here I won't be back! You guys blew it. A word to the wise,a little customer service would go a long way especially when you don't make eye contact,dump change in people's hands without counting and then serve cold food. Maybe if you weren't trying to get laid on company time you could pay attention to what's going on within the store! Peace out,watch out for inspectors coming your way soon!
Being that today is Ash Wednesday I was looking for a seafood or vegetarian option for lunch. Decided on a fish burrito. Service was quick and friendly. Burrito had nice flavors. Beautiful sunny day so we sat outside on one of their tables and enjoyed the sunshine. I took one star away because the quality of the fish wasn't as high as a few other places. All in all I left happy and full. Great spot for a quick lunch. Would like to come back and try their Carne Asada fries.
Grew up around the corner. This place by far had the best carne asada anything. Always on point with their grub. Carne asada nachos are amazing along with their breakfast burritos...
Burritos are large and pretty tasty. Just be aware if you order 8 burritos on Doordash (with individual red/green sauce chosen for each one), they will probably give you 8 burritos with no sauce! Cuz that's what I got!
Patrons for 20yrs. Best asada barrito and 3 rolled tacos w/guacamole on the planet. Open 24/7! Try and fine those hours anywhere else. Allthe plates are excellent as well. Would give 4 1/2 stars. Never 5 as all things can be improved a little.
Love the California burrito! They are open 24h. Ask for red and green salsa! I also like the machaca burrito for breakfast ?
