I actually went here a bunch of times when they first opened a few years ago in 2019 because back then they offered custom cheese foam printing of a design you can upload to their machine (so forgive the abundance of old photos I dug up). The novelty of this was super fun so we came here many times to upload different designs. Since then I've gone to college and graduated and covid happened so the store has changed quite a bit. I checked it out again today and I don't think they offer the cheese foam printing anymore but the drinks are still tasty. I think it's good if you prefer a more creamy tasting drink. They also sell really cute cups. I bought their pink tumbler.
I got 4 drinks and had to wait 30 minutes! When I got the drinks I found out they were leaking. I went back in and asked them to seal it again so they put another cap on, the drink was good but the whole process took and hour, I don’t know if I want to go again or not.
What happened to this place? This is normally my go-to spot in Cupertino Village, but the service has seriously gone down hill. We ordered on their kiosk, and literally waited over an HOUR! I only got one drink, why would it take over an hour? The quality of their drinks have always been consistent, but they seriously need to figure out how to prioritize their drink-making system. I can understand being busy, but no one should ever wait more than 20 minutes for boba... let alone an HOUR.If you do want to try this place, order on Doordash or order online an hour before. My drink recommendations:+ Longan Black Tea+ Rice Mochi Milk Tea+ Lychee & Peach Green Tea Slush with Cheese Foam
Their boba is on the average I think, not extraordinarily good as what I expected from the reviews. But the two times we went there, we waited an awfully long time for our order to be ready. I don’t understand why because they do not seem understaffed or probably because those bobas took more steps to be made. The tables outside are sticky and ants crawl around the spilled boba milk tea which was a little disgusting.
I ordered mine(two drinks and a sandwich) on line and it came out pretty fast. Fantastic drink is always, sandwich tasted good too. Definitely recommend to come and try
I love this tea shop's drinks!! Super strong tea flavor and they have a unique selection. Snacks are so good too
Today I ordered the takoyaki snack! It was pretty good. Only thing was that it took 20+ minutes for my order to be ready. The customer service is average, they don't seem to acknowledge you and are so zoned in with making the food and milk tea. They don't call out numbers very well (could be louder so guests can hear) and it's a very to go like atmosphere and style of customer service.
If you don’t mind long waits then this bubble tea shop has to be one of the best in the bay area. The strawberry boba tea with milk cap is very fresh and fruity. The sweetness isn’t overpowering and all the flavors blend nicely. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
Food and drinks are amazing. Service is horrible, you will wait forever even if you order before they open online. Staff is confused on what order goes where. Food stacks up and it doesn’t get bagged up Just be aware you will have to bug them to get your order.
TLDR: The drinks and food are not worth waiting 10 minutes for, and you'll have to wait an hour. Truedan has excellent drinks and hardly any waiting time. Save yourself some time and go there instead. This place really needs to fix their operations. After ordering through the kiosk, you receive a number, but the number is virtually useless because they call out the numbers very softly, in Chinese, once. If you are outside the store waiting (the only place to wait), you won't be able to hear the number. And if you don't speak Chinese, you will never know when your order is ready. It took an hour to get our order, and we had to go to the counter and look for it a few times or we would never have known it was ready. The food was cold.Food quality: The milk boba tea tasted only of syrup, and the boba was mushy. The mango pomelo was alright. The grape heineken drink was surprisingly the best of the three. The takoyaki was not bad, and the fish balls were unremarkable.
