Delicious and authentic Shanghainese restaurant! Will definitely come back for more. I always order their Xiao Long Bao!They also sell frozen dumpling!And I was last there during the Dragonboat Festival. They have the glutinous rice dumpling for the festival too!
Fantastically large menu. Good Shanghainese dim sum and dishes. Wish the servers were a little more friendly and show a little smile rather than the typical communist Chinese look
Noodle very tasty, big portions, hot tea was watered down. Waitresses loud.
Food is good, I've been a regular customer for years. BUT, lately, the service is so bad, they are so rude. I am not going back anymore. There are others that are as good and they welcome us.
One of the worst restaurants ive ever gone to. The rice was rock hard, the plates where sticky and dirty.They serve tea and the kettles where grimy.The grossest thing was that there was cockroaches scurrying by the server stand so I cant imagine the back.The cherry on top was that the server tipped herself with out permission
This place is a decent Chinese restaurant, but NOT authentically Shanghainese. I did enjoy the fish filet in wine sauce. It was delicious. They even used crash, not canned bamboo shoots.However, the sheng jian bao (pan fried dumplings) was not authentic. The skin was thick and soft. The authentic sheng jian bao has thin but chewy skin thanks to the way they were made. There are more authentic places in Fremont.The soup dumpling was ok but again, not the best I’ve had in the Bay Area.Service was fast and friendly though.
Very authentic Jiangsu-Zhejiang Style Shanghai Variant food. Might not be what you are looking for if you want something quick and simple like Orange Chicken at Panda Express.
Waitress chased us out the restaurant and forced us to tip more than we already had after ignoring our table the whole time. Food was ok other than that.Update: we just saw her walk out to light a cigarette and walk BACK inside with the lit cigarette ??
