The house ground pork rice bowl literally took a minute for them to serve it... Delicious.There is a parking lot outside so you should be able to find parking fairly easily. This place has a lot of benches and tables for seating so you can come with a larger group too, but most customers seem to be individuals trying to grab a quick meal after work or something.Staff are friendly. Remember this is cash only up to $30 or something, so make sure to bring cash as there is no ATM in here.
Authentic. I can't believe how good the food is.Everything is delicious. Vegetable dishes are all good. I can recommend the stir fried silky squash with duck egg. Or if you like bitter melon, the stir fried bitter melon with duck egg. We like it but it is an acquired taste. All of the meat dishes are good. The seafood is good. Try stir fried clams with black bean sauce.If you have not tried Taiwanese food before, it is generally not very spicy.Nice homey design inside. The staff are all very sweet and nice. Great place to relax.
This is my second time dinning in Red Hot Wok (好客棧). The food here is delicious and reminds me of the food in my country, Taiwan. However, I will really recommend people to come during lunch time as the restaurant was so busy at dinner time and it makes the food served less finished. But overall, a great place to grab some Taiwanese food!
This is not a bad place. But if we are talking about traditional flavor of Taiwan then it is not the best place. Ordered the braised pork belly over rice, it lacks the flavor and they put too much sauce that is almost like a soup dish. The fried pork chop is good. The eggplant is a bit bland. The 3 cups chicken is acceptable but again, way too much sauce. Would I go back again? Maybe
Delicious and personably think IT IS authentic Taiwanese food!!! and the price is reasonable, we love every dishes we ordered!
Have heard good things about this place for a while. Never get to try it bc of long wait. Didn't disappoint.

Food was good. Easy to order and pickup. Reducing one star because I didn't receive one rice that I ordered.
I gave 3 stars but I feel this place probably worth 4. We only ordered two dishes... Can't really tell if it's that good but the dishes seemed very Taiwanese homemade dishes.Houses special ribs - Pretty tasty, lots of sauce, the meat fell off the bone. They probably pressure cooked it and then 走油 (briefly do in a fryer to crisp it up)Basil clams - That's the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4. So much sand in the sauce and the clams. I was literally splitting out sand, and with the sauce for the rice, the rice got sand in it. Not a very pleasant experience. Taste wise is ok. Sauce seems to be similar to the House special ribs.
Love this spot ! Every dish is worth trying !!! Definitely best Taiwanese place in the bay !
