Came to order two mojito coffees and the first time they made them they both tasted terrible so I had them make it again. Equally terrible the second time. Waste of time and money.
Has Philz moved to standard cafe ordering or is that a side effect of the pandemic? Anyway I haven't been to a Philz since 2019 so it was nice to be back. I missed the chaos of ordering your drink from the barista first, lol...but also the quality Philz offers. ?
Great pour over coffee. My go to is the Tesora with medium cream and light sugar. The staff is super friendly. Their breakfast burritos are filling and they serve Palo Alto Firefighters Pepper Sauce.
Just want to say that this place has the best service in the whole neighborhood. Coffee tastes so much better than Starbucks, and the guy who takes orders is super generous. Definitely a place for my daily cup of coffee.
Always a great experience at this Philz. Just be careful to order at the right Cupertino spot if your order ahead! There’s a Cupertino location on De Anza and Stevens creek (this one) and another one called Cupertino Main Street closer to Apple HQ.
I went today to buy a cup of decaf light roasted (started with a P) coffee. Sounded great, until I was told that there is a change shortage and I had to pay with exact change. I laughed and walked out. Seriously, there was a shortage, but everything is open and businesses are busy and yet Philz had the audacity to ask me for exact change. This is the second bad experience in this store that I've encountered and therefore will NEVER RETURN!
A Philz that’s on the roomier side. Coffee prices remain a bit higher than average, but the variety of blends is always a treat.Seating is a bit of challenge with the current COVID-friendly line configuration. It gives one the feeling of always being in the way. The larger table in the center feels boxed in and makes it difficult to teach smaller tables, while window seating is crowded out by people waiting for drinks.Service was excellent, and the coffee was worth the wait.

This one star is for one of their staff with purple hair. I ordered a coffee via the app, and according to the app, the coffee is ready in 20 minutes. So I was there on time and came into the store when the app shows the coffee was ready. The first moment i came in, the purple hair staff asked me since i did not wear a mask(btw there are also customers sit in store with no mask), even though i have said nothing, I just want to tell her that i will pick up the order and leave, won't cost 5 seconds. She just asked me out, then i told her I'm just pick up my order, she ignored me. So I thought, ok, maybe my coffee is not ready, so i waited outside for another five minutes. Then i came back again to pick my order, she is so rude to me and impatient asked what's my name. after i told her, she just told me not ready.the male staff is nice, he offered me he can give me a mask and he brought my coffee out after coffee was ready.(the coffee late for 15 minutes when the app told me the coffee is ready to pick up) I think the female staff with purple hair should learn how to talk to people, i'm not begging for her to make coffee for me. I know her name but i won't post her name here.
I like Philz in general but not this store. Dark store no light, unhappy barista, no smile at all. Especially the cashier is very rude. I might go to other stores but not this one.
