I feel like I was back in Taiwan enjoying my favorite sweet dessert soups!! The taro mochi balls are soft and chewy, and the herbal grass jelly is lavishly poured into the bowl. To me it's a meal size portion ?. I am very happy to know MeetFresh finally is expanding to the NorCal East Bay.
Meet Fresh has been my long time favorite since discovering it years ago! I love anything chewy and not too sweet but just enough as a treat. Drinks and what I like to call interactive eats - foods that have different tastes and textures, variety and complex yet simple at the same time, man I'm there ?The massive menu might be intimidating if you've never gone there but if your curiosity pulls you in you'll see how user friendly everything is with suggestive photos and descriptions of what's in it. My favorites are the shaved ice, tofu (Their version of taho ??), anything grass jelly and taro balls stuffs with cold treats for summer, and their hot versions for winter (trust) with a 50% sugar or so. They also have different seasonal treats and promos sometimes. So good. This particular one is in the Main Street Plaza. It's a massive space with spacious seating and lines that move fairly quickly. I mean you'll probably spend the whole time deciding what you want anyways. That's me, Ms. Indecisive but I want everything at the same time, haha.And if not eating in, take it to-go to eat by the square in front or the park behind, or at home. Your biggest obstacle would be picking what you'd want to try! First world problems, am I right. Prices are fair, you are paying for a premium dessert experience after all. I cannot wait to visit Taiwan. Taiwanese desserts just hit different.
Originally, I was trying to find a member of the staff to clean the dirty table. I ended up cleaning it myself. A couple of minutes later a staff member came by with the proper cleaning chemicals. She did a better job than I did. Wife and kids enjoyed their desserts.
meet fresh is always good, no matter where it is haha. this place is huuuuge though and they got a pretty steady flow of customers. we ordered 2 different bowls and a boba drink. they're very generous with their boba and toppings in general. we also ordered half sugar and in my opinion it's the perfect sweetness as it's not too sweet haha. they have self order screen that made it so convenient and they also have a lot of large tables that made it fun and easy to sit together with friends and family, eat shaved ice and talk

Nice place to hang out with friends after work for some sweet drinks and desserts. Before Covid-19 pandemic there’s always a line and it was not easy to find a table. We come back here from time to time.
The kiosks are cool and all, but people who are having trouble using it as they are not used to using the touch screen and those who are inconsiderate taking their sweet time ordering, amounts to long lines. It does not help that there are only two kiosks. Ive had a group take 15 minutes to order on the kiosk.There should at least be one manning the cashier to solve this and the kiosks are there to assist in orders, automation doesnt solve everything.

Hot and cold treats that many Americans may not be familiar with. I had warm tofu and red bean soup with hot matcha tea with boba. You can also customize the level of sugar. Definitely worth checking out. You can order online or at their self checkout kiosks and they will text you when the order is ready for pickup.
