The tomato pork rice bowl was really good especially if you want a little more variety of flavor compared to their minced pork rice bowl.Would also highly recommend the rose tea! It was the perfect amount of sweetness from the foam and the natural taste of the jasmine green tea flavor still shown through.
Been meaning to post for awhile so I have photos from both the old and new locations. We were asked to show proof of vaccinations, which is fine with us but if you haven't been, something to be aware of.My husband, friends and I love the fresh hand pulled noodles here and it keeps us coming back. My husband got the tomato pulled pork noodles, which we both enjoyed. I got the beef and tendon noodles today, which I also enjoyed. I've gotten the signature beef soup before which I thought was delicious as well. Our friends got the caramelized scallion noodles with the fried egg and requested the pork sauce to add to it. All the food we ordered today and in the past were delicious.Let's not forget the folks who have also made our experience much more enjoyable: Austin, Eric and Nam. Hella nice and friendly! For their noboba tea, we've also enjoyed these drinks because you can actually taste the tea.Overall, we enjoy this new location a lot more than the old location and will continue to come back!
Their beef noodle soup is on the sweeter side, but they give you another bowl of clean broth so you can naturalize the sweetness on your own. Their service is also very good. Defiantly recommend this place.
I called Liang’s Village several days in advance and were able to reserve for a large group of people (really appreciated how helpful and patient Eric was on the phone and on the day itself!). When we came to the restaurant, they checked our vaccine cards/pictures and then we were promptly seated. The dishes came pretty quickly and were great—definitely reminiscent of food from Taiwan. The beef soup was quite good, although a tad bit sweet for my taste, but I liked it overall. Others also really enjoyed the beef noodle soup, especially the texture of the noodles, as well as the rice dishes.Fantastic service and food here! Would recommend.
Stopped in for the first time today after getting a haircut at my friend's salon next door.First off, you have to be vaccinated to dine-in. If you don't have your vax card handy, simply scan the QR code at the door, enter your info and your vax record comes up on your phone. The cool thing is, once they see your vax info, they refer to you by name the duration of your visit, making for a quite personable experience. The service was great and helpful. The food was unbelievably tasty. Flavors I have NEVER had before in this context. I will definitely go back!I wish I took pictures of the menu but my food was impeccable: seasoned chicken and rice with a ginger-green onion sauce on the side. Absolutely, yummy!! And gluten free! Plus a seaweed salad and rose green milk tea. Yum, yum YUM!!!(More food than I could eat. Enough for left overs or to share with a friend.)Yeah, I'll be back!
Decided to stop by here for an early dinner. The space is airy and clean, tables are quite spaced out. There was no wait and the food came out quick. We ordered the shredded chicken cold noodles and the beef/tendon noodles and they were both super tasty. Compared to other noodle places, both dishes were on the sweeter side. At first, I was slightly disappointed with the tiny bits of chicken in the cold noodles but that was quickly forgotten as I tucked in a mouthful of chewy noodles glazed with that magic sauce. That sauce needs to be sold separately and I will buy it in a heartbeat-just the right amount of savory, umami, sweet, garlicky, sesame fragrance. The beef and tendon noodle soup was also delicious with big flavorful chunks of meat and tendon. The hand-pulled noodles were so slippery! Will come back for sure when we are in the area again.
Good food and excellent service. The hand pulled noodles makes this place very special. You can choose the dry noodles or noodle soup. You can also choose thin or flat noodles. All depends on what you like. The beef tender noddle is highly recommended. You need to ask spicy sauce if you need it. I believe this is because of the pandemic. Otherwise you should see all of these sauces on your table.
Food, service, location, parking - five stars for everything! The Works noodle was my favorite out of all the dishes I tried. Never had such dish elsewhere & it was so yummy.I also love the variety of drinks I can order on top of food.Best thing about this place is that the service here is phenomenal even when the place was packed with customers. Dine in experience here was amazing. Looking forward to eat here again and try other dishes here!
My top three favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. Unparalleled hospitality and care for the clients and the food they serve us. Their dishes have created flavor epiphanies for me — especially the cold tofu and preserved egg and the beef soup. My understanding of flavor and multi-sensory experience while eating has been expanded. Just wow.
?Amazing Taiwanese food!! I had a craving for traditional beef noodle and Liang Village’s was just sooo good!! The noodles were chewy and the broth so hearty, not to mention the soft and tender tendons ;)We got a lot more of course and everything was equally good ?
