First, I really love their food. We have been there for few years regularly. But recently, I tried to call in and do a take-out order, and the waiter (a girl) on the phone call was extremely rude to me with a strange tone. I know everybody may have a bad day, but can we please be patient?

Visited many times. The dry pot and Malatang (both spicy and non-spicy) all taste good. Malatang is the best.Reasonable price. We usually order small dry pot + 1-2 add-ons + rice for two, about $30 in total. Malatang costs a little more. We usually order one for each person, about $20 for each.Service is not very good, but not a big deal.

Had the spicy dry pot with beef combination. Heavily flavored and pretty greasy. Would expect to have more potatoes with larger size!

Our favorite “Dry Pot” place! They do an amazing job, producing complex webs of spiciness.

Very authentic Chinese food. Fast service, delicious food, but the amount of food is a little too much (at least for me). This restaurant definitely has the potential to become a chain, I would like that :)

Perfect place if you're craving a dry pot. We ordered a DIY large pot with frog legs, lamb shoulder, and lotus root. Large pot might feed 3-4 people comfortably, or 2 with lots of leftovers. Not the fanciest of places, but very tasty food and good price for the portion :)

Wow. This is by far the best food we have eaten in San Jose so far. We ate their dry hot pot with pork (menu item #4).first, since the hot pot has pork meat, pork belly, intestines, and another pork item we expected there to be only a little bit of each. But the hot pot was overflowing with meat!second, the meat was cooked so well. the intestines were perfectly crunchy on the outside but soft and juicy inside. the hot pot also came with vegetables in it, and rice and tea on the side for no extra charge. The flavor... you can choose spice level. We chose mild and it was perfect for my American wife. If you are more comfortable with spicy food go to the next level.all in all we will definitely go back.

I had a to go dry pot, the food was good. But the server wasn’t very welcoming. I was expecting him explain the menu for me, he just circled the menu and have myself to look at it.PS: Bring cash to this place if you gonna spend less than $30

Good veggie dry pot. Fast service. Good price

We did takeout only. Had #9 dry pot for two, plus spring onion pancakes, ma po tofu, and green beans & eggplants. Everything tasted kinda greasy (oil used too long & not fresh, as in transfat) except the tofu dishes that were not fried or stir-fried. Dry pot meats were cut big and the combo tasted like a mish mash of stuff. Even the green beans and eggplants tasted too greasy. The meal felt very unhealthy, the worst kind of Chinese cooking. Will not go back.
