Ceviche: 3/5 average, tiny portion.Hamachi cp: 4/5, a little overcharged but fresh.Mentaiko pizza: 4/5, very crunchy but too much mushrooms, you can't taste anything else.Grilled beef tone: 1/5, don't order it.Also service is kinda slow, we had to wait for half an hour, and they only allow you to dine for 1.5 hrs.

Great food! Business is a bit slow now compared to before. Lunch menu has great value if you are open for anything. Definitely come again. Highly recommended.

The environment was really classic and the service was great! The food was decent and reasonably priced. They have a wide variety of menu items. All the things we ordered was good.

Gochi isn't as that much good as many people are saying.Pro:1. Good Pizza and Eel Fried RiceCons:1. Long waiting lane2. Below average Waiter/waitress service level due to lack of staffs3. Topical Bay Area Trend - Expensive but just so so food quality.

Takes reservations via yelpFriendly atmosphere with tatami seating and homey Japanese decor.Lots of food choices. Something for everyone!!Stand out dishes for me were the clay pot rice and grilled beef tongue!Grilled squid - standard, smoky grilled squidOkonomiyaki pizza - this was okay. I wouldn’t order it again. I’d rather have a non fusion, normal okonomiyaki.Beef tongue - smoky, delicious.Chicken clay pot rice - notes of mirin and savory ground chicken. Rice at the bottom is crispy.Agedashi tofu - pretty standard. On the sweeter sideMentaiko potato gratin - I love anything Mentaiko so I could have just shoveled this into my face.Ankimo - standard fish liver. Not the most fresh, but pretty good!Kanpachi carpaccio - liked the sauce. Same as ankimo, could have been more fresh, but it was still good.

Definitely recommend this place! Although it usually really crowded and takes a lot of time for waiting to be seated, this was the best experience I’ve ever had in the states.Pizza and pot rice was great, scallops were really soft and tender, I just can’t help myself to order everything!

Honestly, this place has really good atmosphere and ambiance which is perfect for a dinner date. They have both regular seating area and the Japanese style with tatami floor dining area. However, that’s pretty much it.. Food wise - presentation was 4 out of 5 and taste was pretty mediocre in my opinion (3/5).They also never pick up their phone, so you need to do reservations vis Yelp. Once you’re there, a couple servers will keep reminding you about your time limit (for us it was 1.5 hr, which wasn’t too bad for my party).

First time here wit a same day reservation which was great! The food is so yummy and unique!Pizza is so yummy and different!Rice is definitely a must to try!Carpaccios are so fresh and yummy!Service is a little slow but not bad at all because they are super busy!Parking is so easy!We will be back!

izakaya style restaurant tucked away in a normal strip mall. Cupertino is super lucky to have this kind of food here. The menu is really thoughtful and well laid out. A mixture of Japanese and Japanese fusion dishes. Everything I've had is super fresh and tasty, although the portions are small because that is the style. A step above TANTO in food quality, decor, and presentation, but that is reflected in the price as well.

Awful nigiri and rolls, overcooked rice, ugly presentation. The Salmon roll was served with huge pieces of the red onions on top. The uni smelled like iodine. And everything is priced as if it was a highest quality sushi
