First time going here, my bf and I always love trying new restaurants and beef noodle is one of our obsessions. We got the Garlic Mala Beef Noodle with Tendon, the chili oil wontons, and wintermelon lemon drink. Very good! Also the location is a little unassuming from the outside but inside the ambiance is lovely and clean. Very much recommend to all who want a good meal and good service.

Came here on a Thursday afternoon and had a easy time getting a seat immediately!Good:So many options here - I ended up getting the egg and tomato dish and really liked it. The soup could have a bit more flavor in it but it was a really good balance and wasn’t spicy at all.The handmade noodles are great - just chewy enough and tasty.Bad:The place does have a longer wait time so you should expect to wait a little to get your food. It’s also pretty packed inside.Overall I enjoyed the food and liked that there was a lot of things on the menu so will come back to try more.

Beef noodle consists of three elements, broth, noodle and meat. Their beef noodle is impeccable and very authentic. But the waiters are not as good as their food.

It makes me feel a little bit home sick…the traditional Taiwanese beef noodles! When I walked into the restaurant, waiters and waitresses were nice introducing the menu. The noodles were chewy and the beef was soft! I will visit here again

Taiwanese beef noodle soup restaurant. Love their porkchop fried rice but the drink is not so much. The noodle soup is too lights for my taste. Was asking for white pepper, this is what they gave me in photo.

Service is good. Eating area is clean and pleasant. Soup is somewhat not enough beef flavor compared to Taiwanese original store. However, if you had Souptera beef noodle soup before. You will be somewhat disappointed. It is still a good Taiwanese beef noodle option in Bay Area.

Braised Beef Noodle SoupThe holy grail for many in the Bay Area is Taiwanese Beef Noodle SoupUnlike SoCal and despite the large number of Taiwanese Americans in the immediate Bay Area, a strong recommendation for Beef Noodle Soup is still hard to find much less get a strong consensusPop-ups like takeout only @chiangbeefnoodlesoup have helped, but a true sit-down restaurant with high-quality beef shank and tendon, slurp-worthy noodles and a long simmered broth remains a pipe dream (with multiple weaker or pricey restaurant (Liang’s, Mama Liu, Chef Hung) renditions closing throughout the pandemic)Enter Duan Chun Zhen from Taiwan with their family recipe from Sichuan. With an aesthetic that is more reminiscent of Din Tai Fung than a casual Taiwanese noodle shop, Duan Chun Zhen emphasizes high-quality braised beef, three noodle types and a 23 spices long-simmering broth, all at an elevated price point to bootI opted for their signature “three-treasure” braised beef noodle soup with beef shank, tendon and tripe and chose hand pulled noodles. The entree only is $17 and a combo with a sweet drink and small side dish is $23The broth is actually very good and the quality of the meat is high too, except there isn’t much of it. The tripe had three tiny slices and I only had one small tendon. The shank was more generous but not sliced as I like (available in another version)The noodles, while hand pulled are too wide and I prefer my fresh noodles like Pho Ha Noi; not too wide, not too thin, but just rightOverall, it was a solid bowl but the price point is higher than expected, especially the combo priceNext time, I’ll opt for the thin noodles, skip the tripe and tendon, and choose sliced braised shank (which I sampled because I was still hungry after my main bowl)I’d also skip the combo and just get pickled cucumbers at Marina at a fraction of the cost and a Vitasoy drink that would probably taste similar to the overly sweet winter melon tea? Braised Beef Noodle Soup (Shank, Tripe, Tendon), Hand-Pulled Wide Noodles Combo $23 / Pickled Cucumber $5 / Winter Melon Lemon Tea / Braised Beef Shank $5.99?Duan Chun Zhen Noodle House (Cupertino, CA)

You can your order very fast. Their soup base is good. Very generic Taiwanese beef noodle soup.just open in 2022.

A big fan of this restaurant back in Hsinchu, Taiwan! I would say the braised beef shank has a different texture here, and the soup is a bit more watery (still tastes good though)The braised side dish are very delicious, highly recommended than the beef noodles. But here they did not provide the shandong red vinegar, it’s the soul these side dish!

So far the best Taiwanese Beef Shank and Tendon Noodle in Cupertino. If you like NO spice go with the Tomato Beef Noodle with hand made noodle. Or super Numbing spices Garlic Beef soap. Combo Braised Platter is great.
