I went to Van Leeuwen’s for the first time today and I had the BEST experience!!! I got the blueberry shortcake and royal wedding cake ice cream scoops. You can taste the quality within the flavors. Though the highlight of my experience was the amazing customer service by Analise. She gave great recommendations, was very accommodating, and had a vibrant energy! I felt very welcome to the shop and I plan on most definitely coming back again soon!
AMAZING ice cream ? but pushy staff. *No cash accepted here.*We really, really enjoyed the brown sugar walnut cookie dough ice cream. Wish we could have tried every flavor!We were the only customers in the store and the person serving us was trying to hurry us along. It was pretty obvious this was our first visit as we were looking at the menu for a long time but she just wanted us out of the store and kept asking what else we wanted. Then after feeling rushed choosing a flavor, we get to the register and she says they don't accept cash. There's no sign that states this and she was pretty rude about it. Also I think it's a bit rich to say no cash, but have a tip jar full of cash sitting on the counter.Good thing the ice cream's delicious because no one's coming back for the customer service.
High quality ice cream, huge variety of flavors & worth the price. You cannot taste the difference in the classic versus vegan flavors. I’m not vegan (far from it) but the churros & fudge flavor is outstanding and I’ll choose it every time! Tried an ice cream sundae this time with whipped cream & hot fudge, highly recommend. Friendly staff and they’ll let you sample all the flavors you want!
Great little ice cream spot at the Platform in Culver City. Lots of dairy and vegan options, helpful staff and a nice spot. Definitely worth the visit if in the area.
A little pricey and can get busy with people. The area is definitely worth checking out if you are going with friends. Unique flavors, vegan options as well. GREAT staff.
This place is SO good. It is by far the best vegan ice cream I've tasted yet. My daughter and I both love the honeycomb! The service is as sweet as the cream! My daughter dropped her scoop shortly after we got it... sprinkles and all. She broke into tears. We went to the front desk to apologize and the gentlemen helping us got her a new scoop without even hesitating. It really made our day. Wish I got his name!! Thank you very much team member who worked today! You are my daughters hero :)
Wonderful ice cream. Parking is a hassle and they don’t validate but the ice cream was worth it. I just would just offer an alternative to a hot waffle cone because it makes your ice cream melt faster.
This is the coldest ice cream I ever did taste - I love their sample spoons too!
We had the blue jasmine tea and honeycomb. It paired really well together. Melina was super kind and helpful.
