I have spent about 40 years in Culver City and Tito‘s is a landmark. I eat there about 6 to 10 times a year. My favorite item is the beef burrito with cheese. I had lunch there a few days ago with my son. If you know Tito‘s you know the lines and how it is organized chaos. This Saturday I saw they have implemented a more organized way of moving people through the lines. Big improvement! I was a little shocked at how much the prices of gone up (why I’m giving 4*). The taste of Tito‘s is distinct and delicious, especially as I eat there so infrequently. I love the place and I am glad it has survived the last few years. Long may it reign. I hope to have another 100 or so visits before I am through.
I've been coming here for many years. I loved this place, but not so much the prices anymore. Over the years they up the prices by a lot. This is the reason why I only come twice a year now. Unlike before at least once a month.Don't get me wrong the tacos are good. And I loved that this restaurant survived thru the pandemic. I just think they are charging way too much for cheese.
I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid. And my dad used to come here when he was a kid too. It’s just sort of become a little tradition to meet up with my family and come here. The food is still good but the prices are extremely high now. The tacos are not that great to be almost $5 a taco. I mainly just come here for the nostalgia now. But it’s nice to come every once in a while.
This place is AMAZING and ONE OF A KIND! I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try something original and authentic to the area, THE SALSA IS DELICIOUS! I have yet to find another place that makes fried tacos like here❤????
they even refuse at times to give an extra green salsa which is not that expensive compared to the food price we have to pay.
Was a bit disappointed. Gave them a try because of the cold cheddar cheese they top with, and they definitely delivered. Tons of cheese. Unfortunately, the actually taco filling is bland with a strange texture. Ground beef would have been the move here.
Something weird is going on with this many people enjoying this place. I refuse to believe that so many people enjoy such a bland and tasteless taco that they could rate this place highly and call it an institution.Maybe it was back in the day but this is a slap in the face of anyone that enjoys tacos.This is mediocrity at its finest. I will take any roadside taco stand offering over this anytime. The tacos aren’t bad per se but they’re really average in the same sense of what you expect when you make your own tacos with limited ingredients.
