We ordered Chicken Tiki Masala Frankie and the Aloo Gobhi. The idea was good but there was just too much sauce everywhere, wasn't a clean eat. Also it would be better if there was rice inside but also the burrito might not have held up due to overstuffed. A fusion that missed but the aesthetic was nice inside.
I've been waking past this restaurant and decided to give it a try on my lunch break.I ordered the crispy fish tacos which were priced reasonably and a veggie samosa. The veggie samosa was perfect.I enjoyed the fish tacos and the nan bread was a pleasant surprise. However, I did feel like there was a seasoning missed on the tacos.However. Everything was fresh and portions were perfect.I'll be back
The restrooms was closed for the guests, the cashier didn’t gave the menu. I’ve ordered the chicken tikka masala bowl,it was plain rice with some chicken on top, should comes at least with the same amount of vegetables that goes in wrap ,was very disappointed when they gave me uncooked naan after I’ve asked them to make it more burned
Bombay Frankie has a unique twist of classic Indian flavors in a street food setting. The establishment has a great modern Indian vibe with wonderful food! I can’t wait to go back!
I believe the Frankie's are a spinoff of Kathi Rolls which originated in Calcutta. If you don't have the expectations of a kathi roll, or if you've never tasted authentic Indian food, you probably won't be disappointed. That said, these were okay. They weren't spicy at all, and the depth of flavor from the masala was absent. There's also an unconventional sour note at the end of every bite for each of the items I tried. Lastly, although plentiful, chicken thigh would probably be a better choice instead of chicken breast as it's a bit dry.Glad I ended up checking this place off the list, but especially since the novelty of their location is no longer applicable(their business started off inside of a gas station) and the prices have adjusted to the relatively upscale locale, I don't think they stand out at all.
Delicious, fast, messy, expensive. Lassis were incredible and delicious. Cool sodas. Yogurt sauce was so good I wished I had some more. Burritos are huge and can be two meals. Chairs when moved are LOUD. Will go again.
This place doesn’t serve good food at all. An authentic Frankie is thin, long, cheesy and crispy. The food they served is none of the that. They have a menu item called papdi chat and if you see the picture, you will laugh at it. They make it look like nacho’s but the taste just doesn’t work.We had paneer Frankie, Chana masala Frankie, paneer bowl , chaat and shahi paneer bowl and not a single item was good. Everything was average and this is coming from some one who is a Indian living here for 20+ years.#BLAND #SAD
Wonderful food and excellent service. Hybrid of Indian and Mexican delicacy. Beef Samosas with the green sauce(cilantro mint) is mwahhh. I prefer the burrito over the bowl unless you get the deconstructed bowl.
