Today i had the bomb Salt& Pepper plate with arugula & mashed...as you can see it was horrible ...jk lmao it was definitely ? delicious !and the service i received from Annabelle & Caesar was great !
The staff was pleasant and helpful and the rustic chicken soup was delicious. The mashed potatoes weren't as good as before, but adding a little broth signed that problem.
I've been a TG customer for 5yrs or more. The food typically is very good. I like the selection, the specials, rarely is there a food issue. I will say the steak is very salty, but it is a small portion so I think they are trying to maximize the flavor. The issue I've run into more than a couple times is staff training. Last night the young person working the register was unfamiliar with beverage choices. This is kind of a regular thing as its happened in the past. So not only was our party of four held up, but then the parties behind us as well. No fault of our own, but we were holding up the line. Better training and better management.
Lovely staff, consistently delicious and nutrient-filled food.
I ordered the pineapple basil agua fresca, it was refreshing. The seating outdoors has very comfortable chairs. The chicken was juicy and the arugula salad was light and fresh.
My first time ordering from Culver City location. The food came cold, mashed potatoes were hard, lettuce was soggy. Salmon and chicken were undercooked. The seasonal veggies were the lonely food item that was good. . Asked for utensils and were not included. Wish it had been better. A waste of money
The food was decent, the chicken is a little dry but it's good if you like chicken breast. We were sitting outside and the leaves was falling on our plates lol.. perhaps they should have umbrella on the outside. Also wish the employees will come out and check on the customers too. We have to go inside and refill the drinks.
Good food, however, the customer service lacks. We ordered on Uber eats since we’ve had some Covid symptoms and decided to quarantine. They missed our drinks and didn’t send utensils. We called to let them know and to ask for a refund on the drinks - they wanted us to drive over and pick them up even though I explained why we ordered Uber eats in the first place. Michelle and Anabelle were unprofessional. They didn’t leave me on mute and I could hear their conversation about me on the phone which was very rude and disrespectful.
Check out this “roasted tomato soup” they delivered to me. The top was all neon green until I mixed it up. Super gross.
Fresh produce, perfectly cooked meats, delicious bread (be sure to order an extra slice or two!), refreshing drink choices...including artisanal beers and wine, decent pricing, and great tunes added to the laid back California vibe and wonderful ambiance in the outdoor seating area at the Culver City location. My Chinese chicken salad - big enough to stretch for 2 meals (but so tasty that I ate the whole thing in a single sitting) - was just $13. The restaurant was clean inside and out with a visible assembly area and partially visible kitchen. Unlike many chain restaurants, the perfectly weighted silverware was polished and looked sanitary enough to eat with! Even the ladies restroom was clean and well appointed. No parking validation for the garage conveniently located across the street but the first hour is free and we ended up only paying $2 for an almost 3 hour visit on a Saturday late afternoon. I definitely recommend a stop there if you're in the area; otherwise, rest assured that takeout will not disappoint!
