A kids size pizza for $12 and they skimp on the cheese. Do yourself a favor and head across the street to Ugos for pizza that’s actually authentic neopolitan and actually proper size.
Absolutely loved the crust, it was so chewy and fresh. The pizza Bianca was also just delicious, probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while.
Love they Meyer lemon pizza but they only have one size of pizza so you have to order multiple to be full. The price doesn’t really accommodate for that in my opinion. Also please update your restaurant hours on google. Thanks
Best pizza. Just like mozza. Love mushroom pizza there.
Stopped in for lunch hoping for some great pizza. What a disaster. Both Pizza’s we ordered came burnt. The edible part tasted terrible. There is just nothing good I can say about my experience here today. I will definitely not be back and would never recommend this for a visit. Sorry Pizzette.
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE IVE BEEN TO. My little sister ordered a stuffed pizza and gave us the most nastiest food ever. We ordered the mozzarella and baby peppers and have us a stuffed pizza with lettuce and pesto. Never again???
Aloha.?? I've been wanting to eat at Nancy Silverton's restaurants for awhile after watching her on Netflix's Chef's Table. I was in LA for the weekend, and her Melrose area restaurants were fully booked.? But atlas, she has a newer one in Culver City- Pizzette in the back of Citizen Public Market. (No Pizzette signs out front.)Nancy is the mother of artistic breads in California and I would say USA. She has perfect palette and is a perfectionist. What an amazing chef. After ordering inside, staff will notify you via text when order is ready.☺️Her pizza crusts are light, and wonderful. ??Pizzettes are small personal size and very flavorful. Stuffed pizzettes are not hot and are more like sandwiches.??I liked the Arugula Freekah Insalate better than the Chopped Insalate (bitter greens).???The Nancy's Fancy gelato is so rich and delicious ?. Really cute and sweet presentation, a small jar of gelato & spoon in a tiny brown paper bag. ? ?There is a lot of outside seating with umbrellas and indoor seating. The public sidewalk is walled off from seating area. Caution, sit at tables away from wall, I smelled some unpleasant odors near there.?Though I could eat in Melrose restaurants, I was very impressed with the food at Pizzette.??❤️
pizzette is one of the restaurants inside the citizen public market. we ordered funghi misti pizza and tricolore salad. the pizza was a little bland; it could use a little more saltiness or some flavor. the salad, though fresh and crisp, was nothing special. i suggest adding proscuitto to it to make it a really good salad and maybe have the restaurant toss the dressing for an even coat of the vinaigrette.
I had a Stuffed Pizzette. Their mini pizzas are billed as Pizzettes. So I assumed a Stuffed Pizzette was a warm pizza sandwich. It was not. It was a cold sandwich in a dough pocket. I'm not sure what it had to do with a Pizzette. It was sort of like a pita pocket but with pizza dough bread?? I think the restaurant could use some better signage regarding what this new item is. Two of us ordered and both were surprised it was cold. The flavors were ok. But it was not very filling and kind of just a $14 small sandwich with quality ingredients.
Definitely overpriced. The rent must be outlandish, I’m sure. Pizza was ok, not as good as Mozza. The problem with Pizzette was the service. Formulaic. The staff had zero interest in the customer experience at all. Full auto pilot. A fixable problem.
