Amazing coffee and great customer service. David was so friendly and made my morning!
Delicious coffee and pastries.Very cool wall art and centrally located to the Culver Hotel.Kind service
Great experience here, have been coming for many months. The staff are always pleasant and polite, and the coffee selection is great. You should know that they make coffees that aren't espresso-based, but are nevertheless delicious. This may not be the right brew for you if you prefer less caffeinated drinks, but I enjoy the stronger ones.
My husband and i just went to get hot water for our tea and they said they typically charge for cups but let us pass this time, so they were kind. The place is always packed and busy. It's like a Starbucks they gave outdoor and indoor seating. The bathrooms are available. They have complimentary cold water at the front as well. Located near multiple other restaurants like Chipotle and mendincinos. It is on the Culver steps first floor so there is a lot of lounging grassy area.
As a coffee lover Philz has excellent brewed coffee, one of the best places to get a black drip. Baked goods could be a little better, but the coffee more than makes up for it.
Always an excellent selection of unique coffee brewed one cup at a time. This location has 12 to 15 different coffees categorized from light to dark roast. A must try if you are stuck in the Bucks routine.
Not sure why I never knew there was a Philz in Culver City but I am so happy there is! I love Philz and have been a big fan of their coffee for a decade now (my friend brought me to a Philz in NorCal in 2011!). Even after all this time, I am still in love and obsessed. My experienceI came here around 3:30pm on a Saturday. Only 2 customers in line before me and I only had to wait ~3 minutes before ordering. I ordered their iced mint mojito (my favorite drink of theirs), sweet and creamy with almond milk. The barista who made the drink made it consistent to all the other locations I have been to--so delicious! My drink was made ~5 minutes after ordering/paying. I was very happy because sometimes their Santa Monica Philz location is not consistent/a hit or miss.SeatingAll of the tables inside the shop were occupied with customers/couples studying or having a conversation. My sister and I easily found a table outside.Location/ParkingLocated right at the Culver Steps, right next door to Salt & Straw ice cream. Parking--metered street parking or parking garage next to Trader Joe's (first hour is free).Definitely will be coming back!!
Stopped in just a little after lunch. Still some inside seating available. Plenty of outside seating available. Had a light brew large coffee with a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie. Good combination. Most of the outdoor seating was in the sun, umbrellas did not help much. Mid November temperatures were comfortable even in the sun. Service was excellent. If you are waiting for your car to be serviced at the Honda or Toyota dealer Philz Coffee with a large cup in hand will take up an hour!
Friendly staff and David, a barista, took great care of me. The ground around this location is amazing.
Nice and easy going spot for getting some work done. Their espresso is rich!
