Big Bear smoothie
Every time i come there is a problem:1) They’re out of most menu items2) They stopped taking orders prematurely3) They closed early without noticeFor the price I pay to eat here Id at least expect it to be run a bit better than this. Such a mess
For a vanilla latte at that price I would expect it to at least be good, I ended up not drinking it.
Order anything off this menu and be a happy human. Bomb coffee bomb food. And it’s all vegan ?. Most Mathew Kenny restaurants are a going to be a win this is no exception.
Disappointed. Customer service sets the tone for everything and the person working there was extremely rude to my friend for who knows why. She just had some questions and was met with attitude.So I ordered the coffees instead, but was talked to nicely and given compliments when I had done nothing different...Treat your customers the same. Should have just walked right out because the coffee was "eh," but we wanted to make the drive worth it. Sadly, not worth it.
The first time I went, I tried their kelp noodles which were extremely salty and had a very odd taste - I like salty foods but I couldn't even finish this. I went one more time to give it another shot and had the Silver Lake smoothie which was tasty, but extremely overpriced. Wouldn't recommend.
They have a beautiful raw vegan menu and delicious hot and cold beverages. Wonderful salads, bowls & smoothies and even an adaptagenic blend, called a Chaggacino! It's everyday plant food, elevated to the next level!It's more than just ordinary. It's extraordinary!
The açaí is okayyy. For $18 it should be best in town. Portions pretty small also fresh ingredients though.
I absolutely love MakeOut but lately it's been disappointing to find in random days (Friday once and now Monday) that they close much earlier than expected because it's only one person on the floor. So instead of closing at 6p (grabbing the dinner interested folks) they close before 4:45p. It's unfortunately been a common trend lately so I would not recommend MakeOut for dinner.
Was excited to try the wraps after looking at a few pics here. Drove all the way there for them to say they discontinued them a YEAR AGO?!Then why are they still on the menu?Then the lady said they weren't making anymore food for the day (it was about 4pm all restaurants around them were packed out with people). I was SO confused and disappointed.We've got to do better, guys.Who wants to leave reviews like this??I sure don't.
