I ordered a pizza and a Cesar salad and the pizza tasted nothing like a pizza, I honestly didn't like it at all. the Cesar salad was a very small portion, i asked for extra dressing and they charged me for it lol. Never had any restaurant charging me for extra dressing. Also my pizza had chicken on it and the chicken was grilled !!! I never had a grilled chicken on a pizza, I think this place has nothing to. do with Italian food. I don't recommend it.
The food is pretty decent, the dining experience just sucks. The tables outside block the entrance. The chairs and tables are far too close to on another and the walls. The pizza slices would be pretty good if only they fully toasted it. They only toast it enough so only the edge is hot while the crust area is barely warm. They're constantly understaffed so anything outside of the pizza slices takes thirty minutes. Which would be fine if we were told so to expect such, but the staff always tells us it'll take 10 minutes.
I have been eating here for at least 10 years, I had the best pizza I've ever had from this establishment in that time.It was delivered hot from their own driver (not Uber or Lyft) in under 45 minutes! I even called the restaurant to thank them.I ordered:1/2 "Bronx"pepperoni/sausage/meatball1/2 Brooklynsausage, green peppers, onion, olives, mushroom I leave out. But it is included on the pie if you like fungi.Have your oven ready and hot to crisp up the crust upon delivery.Best $40.00 pizza you can ever purchase in West Los Angeles including delivery and tip .$35 pie / $5 tip under 45 minutes. It's at least 18 to 20 inches . It freezes well. I eat 2 slices and sip a ginger ale and freeze 6 pieces for later..I truly think this is the Best Pizza crust in Los Angeles. I have not been to Pizzeria Mozza yet. I have a hard time dealing with basically the same price for a 10 inch pizza for $25.00 . Plus delivery and tax and tip . I'm loyal to La Rocca's,Mrs Silverton, please make me hungry for your pizza pie at a fair size and price. I know Melrose Ave is expensive.Time to move and focus on pie, not location.you have a following.
the Spinaci e Pomodoro pizza was so good! it was fresh, the crust had the perfect crunch, and ratio of cheese and sauce was on point. i appreciated the vegan cheese option too. it’s definitely a nice place to enjoy a slice of pizza on a sunny day.
For someone who grew up in Connecticut and agrees CT NY AND NJ have the best pizza… this place… almost nailed it. It’s all about a simple cheese slice people and after 20 years in SoCal, no west coast pizza place has impressed. So close LaRocco, so close! The flavor and ratio of cheese n sauce was perfect, but your dough was kinda like ripping apart a semi-rubbery piece of cardboard.
Good pizza, the worker told me 1 hour wait time, i feel the worker was trying to deterred me from ordering, and it only took them 15 minutes. Need better customer servive
Ordered the white stone which I think was pretty good considering I’ve never tried anything like that, I did get over the taste after a few bites and then I got the Laroccos special and that one was my favorite. First time going and I wish I could’ve asked for the pizza to be a little bit warm. Got cold pretty quick. Looking to comeback!
Googled Larocco’s to get their phone number… have been coming here for years. Saw about 8 different delivery servic options offered online and decided to order through Doordash because I was familiar with the name and it was convenient to do it online. Placed my order and then out of curiosity checked out the other delivery services. I was surprised to see that other sites had different menus and prices and some were 35-40% less than Doordash. I called the restaurant to ask why and they said they were indifferent. Said they don’t control what the delivery services do with their menu and next time I should go directly to their website to order. The problem is that their website is not up and running. The only website up is the other location. I feel taken advantage of…why advertise those delivery services if you know your long term customers are going to get fleeced. If I didn’t see the delivery options I would have just called as always. These restaurants need to have better controls over their business. It seems like they are letting the delivery services have all the power over the restaurants and the people that get hurt are the patrons. Hopefully… they will do something about it.
Sweetest staff. Quick and Yummy bite! Delish
Amazing pizza. Great service. I haven’t had pizza like this since my days of living in New York. The garlic knots were also bomb! Def 5 outta 5 stars!
