What happened!? Did this place change hands? I used to love the handmade corn tortillas. They were these wonderful squishy corn pancakes of delight. Now they only have those cheesy corn tortillas you can get anywhere. Now this place is just over crowded and over priced on a rep that was once very nice. Now they are running on the popularity of the beginning. Nothing is more disappointing than returning to a favorite place to eat only to discover that everything has dropped in quality except for the price. Ugh. This is just sad.
Best restaurant in Los Angeles. I’ve been going to Kay N Dave’s for nearly 15 years and I sill love it. Try the spinach/mushroom/onion quesadilla. It’s the best.
Excellent fresh food with reasonable prices. They have a small parking lot. Best chips and salsa I've had in a while. Vegan friendly.
The food was delicious and fairly priced for what you get. I ordered the Molcajete and it was terrific! I didn't order a drink from the bar but they were reportedly excellent according to my friends.
The waiter was rude! He never checked to see if we wanted anything to drink. We waited an extra 30 minutes just for him. he came over refill the people behind us water cups and new chips and dip,While he put his thumbs up and gave us check.
