Best pastrami ever! And after years of cash only they now take credit cards.
Omg everyone knows I love a good corned beef or pastrami and Johnnie's did not disappoint. Loaded with nice good flavored beef great roll and good cheese. Definitely a delicious spot that anytime I'm in LA I'll be back
We got the Hot Pastrami, so good the bread was fresh the pastrami was Piled high and it came with a bowl of sliced pickles, not a lot of parking so we parked in the road, the waitress was so friendly she checked on us often, we sat down at a table outside without waiting, i would definitely come back

Best pastrami in the multiverse. Not an exaggeration. I take my mustard and mayonnaise on the side and always order takeout. But they'll add mustard to the sandwich for you normally. Eat here. Really. And you're welcome. Unless you're a vegetarian. Then...uh...never mind. Sorry to have bothered you. You're a better person than me to resist devouring one of these monster thick insanely good sandwiches. They are DELICIOUS!
The pastrami’s are a pretty big portion I can say maybe two people can eat from one sandwich. I was here during the week the staff was great they took care of me and brought out the food quickly! Also the French fries were nice and crispy! If you are a fan of Pastrami this place is for you!
Amazing food and great service. Fab 50s diner experience. Loved the mini jukeboxes on the tables. My partner loved the complimentary pickles and the root beer float. I loved the milkshakes and burgers.

Forget to order the yellow peppers and hot mustard on the side really enhances the meal for the spicy lovers! Chili cheese fries are bomb as well! You will not regret it!
Can't see to get away from it. I moved about 50 mil. North and every time i go around johnnie's, I have to make a stop and enjoy their delicious food and after more than 25 plus years that I've visited this place. It still the same flavor I remember.
Nostalgia is at its best. This brings back great childhood memories. Delicious hot pastrami presented on a fresh roll. They have a little bowl of yummy pickles they place on your table while you wait for your order like they did when I was a kid.
