I was really looking forward to visiting this place on my visit. But shame on me. Because the chicken was not worth the trip from Valley (to be honest) OR the rude worker that was mad because SHE MADE THE WRONG DRINK AND KEPT ASKING IF WE WANTED THE MANGER ? Thank goodness they had a gravy that’s seasoned to pair with it, because if not it would’ve just been an overpriced-unseasoned meal. The blue berry pancake- that wasn’t even good. The fries with veggies those were actually good! This was a one and done place for sure.
Delicious fried chicken. Very flavorful. Had the three piece meal with fries. Also a side of hush puppies. Chicken was crispy, and juicy. Fries were fresh and crisp. Hush puppies were top notch, but could use a bigger portion. Great place, comfy atmosphere.
I was excited to try this place out. I saw this place on YouTube. The chicken is definitely crispy, however, the meat was not as flavored as I expected. The fries were nothing beyond excitement. Lastly, the biscuits were ok.I do recommend you to give it a try at least once. You may like it more than I do.
Wow… wasn’t quite expecting this.. easily some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. Sweet, perfect outside crunch on the fry and juicy chicken meat. I also had their fried fish which was equally as mouth watering delicious.. you can’t go wrong here. Blueberry biscuits on point as well as tasty Mac salad… their peach pie crust is stupendous and worth a try as well. I’ll definitely be coming back here… only critique is I wish it was a bit less expensive but that feels kinda like inflation…
Very unimpressed. This was my first time. Since I heard so much about this place, I figured I would give it a try. I ordered 2 pieces, a biscuit. Sweet potato fries and a lemonade. Sadly, the drink was the highlight. The sweet potato fries were mushy once you crunched through the batter. The biscuit was dry and the chicken was fried hard and didn't taste fresh. I see the reviews on here and it's so positive. I guess I must have come on a very bad day. Unfortunately, I can't say that I'll be back. My hard earned money can be better spent at another local restaurant. ????

The fried chicken was good. I know people who love it. I personally prefer a Louisiana style so that's why I am saying the chicken was okay (all preference). I will say that the fries were good and the blue berry biscuits are very good. You must get the blue berry biscuits! The mac n cheese was okay, I think this falls back to personal preference. Skip the rice and gravy, not enough flavor. My friends said the coleslaw was alright, I forgot why they said it was alright. Skip the macoroni salad, we didn't care for it.
We ordered the chicken strip meal and their lemonade but when we got our food it was the wing meal. Thankfully they just told us to keep that and gave the chicken strip meal as well. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. In terms of the food, it was absolutely freaking delicious and worth it. I couldn't believe how juicy the chicken was and the flavor just hit like a punch. Absolutely recommend
This place is great!!! I think they are using the Golden Bird Fried Chicken recipe. Reminds me exactly of Golden Bird and their biscuits!! I'll definitely be back!!! Yum!!???
Overall this would be a 3 star as the Fried Chicken and fries were both hot and decent, but I thought the "biscuit" and pecan pie were similar to the chain, Church's Fried Chicken, and below expectations. Fortunately, this place is only 20min. from LAX. I live in San Diego and an airport run and having seen Honey's on Ticktok, I gave it a go! The saving grace was I bought a bag of biscuit mix and made them at home and they came out better vs. restaurant!
