Tasty food. The lunch specials are 12.99 and there are 10 options, the yellow curry was very enjoyable, and #10 was a fresh chicken dish with ginger and other greens. There was a house papaya salad as a starter.
Best Thai spot on the west side. Had the drunken noodles cooked w the perfect spice level. The look of the spot is cute and well thought out. You can tell the owners put a ton of love and care into this spot.
Ordered take out from here. I had the pad Thai, chicken teriyaki over rice and the papaya salad with a Thai iced tea with no ice. The food reviews for this place are so good that my expectations were high and it all came crashing down. The pad Thai was as dry as cardboard and the chicken teriyaki was worse than a school lunch. The papaya salad was ok the best dish from what we got but it was still sub par. The Thai iced was delicious but ridiculously expensive at $5 without ice, for that price I could have gotten boba and a larger size. This place now sets a new low for Thai food in west LA. Never coming back…this garden should stay hidden.
So impressed! Thank you so much for making your pad Thai on the “dry” side, other restaurants have been making it really sweet and saucy lately. Been looking for a great pad Thai and I definitely this this is the spot ! Everything else we have tried has been excellent as well.
To go order...Paid $13 for chicken pieces on overcooked white rice, 3 slices of cucumber and 2 sauces. Nothing else. I was totally disappointed. Could have gotten this simplistic meal for $7 at Panda, and it would have tasted better. Also, Tom Ka soup had very little taste of the coconut milk. Very disappointing...I won't buy from here again.
OMG!!!!! This place is a Hidden Gem! Don’t let the strip mall fool you! This is the BEST Thai food I’ve tasted. I’m a vegetarian and my boyfriend is a meat eater. We got the same dish. The Ka Pow is AMAZING! I got mines with Tofu of course, and he got chicken. It was just layers of flavor. The nice young lady that took our order was patient and gave great suggestions. This will be our local go to for sure!!!!!
I went to visit with my husband and my two year old daughter last week to stop by for the lunch special. The atmosphere was very calm and decorated beautifully. My faughter loved the light fixtures which distracted her while we ate. The waiters were very accommadating and quick with the service. The thai iced tea is one if my favorites and Hidden Gem did not dissapoint. We got the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew and it was very flavorful and well made. It also came out pretty quickly so we didnt have to wait for long. Will definately be going again next time I'm in Culver City.
Vegan Pad see Ew delicious. Good portions. Got tofu and chicken. The chicken could be more moist but still great!! It’s not too oily, good vegetable portion added. Green beans, carrots, broccoli, cabbage. Would recommend for Thai food!!
First time at Hidden Garden and it’s officially my new favorite Thai restaurant! The food was fresh, light and very authentic tasting! The interior decor was inviting and modern with a homey and botanical feel. Wonderful service and they took great care of us! I will definitely come back again!
The whole neighborhood seems to be a relaxing spot, with water features (fountains, little cascades, small ponds), that give a vibe of being all part of a whole. Go all the way to the back 'hidden' garden, an A-MA-ZING spot! So cozy, beautiful, well cared,it feels as if you instantly stepped into a forest fairy tale spot! A small pond with koi and flowers raining on it, differ seating places (always all taken! such a popular place!??) Live (music) performers if you're lucky!
