My parents have been bringing me here since I was 1 year old. It is the best Thai food on the west side and has been family owned and operated just as long! We love The Emerald!
I don't understand how this place is still in business. The service is terrible. Several times I asked for napkins and each time the man brought me one napkin. Worse than that was the food. I ordered the winter shrimp and it was so greasy it was inedible. Plus the shrimp tasted like nothing. I also ordered the Tom kha soup and at first they brought me the tom yum soup. After I told him it was wrong he brought me the right thing but it was the worst Tom kha soup I've ever had. Like I say I don't know how this place stays in business. Avoid it like the plague
i ordered seafood combo soup. I received two shrimps and paid $17. When i said something to the old man, he gave me attitude. Something else
Haven't eaten here in some years. But I know they have they best food around... if Nick is still there I know the food is still the same. My step-dad Dr. Miller started me going there. When I come back to Cali I'm going to have my favorite, stuffed chicken wings and crab rice. Ummmm good..
Very flavorful and delicious food! They mostly do takeout so be patient with staff for dine-in :)
I use to come here way back in the day. The food is the best. Nick was a really cool dude, if he's still there. Moved out of Cali, so I haven't been there for some time. Glad to know that they're still in the same spot. Next time I'm in Cali I'll be sure to stop in for those stuffed chicken wing and that crab fried rice??.
The roti curry is absolutely delicious!!!! Honestly anything off the menu is pretty good, have gone here about 5-6 times now and will come back again!
We've been going to Emerald for over 25 years!!! Somehow, they keep getting better and better (if that's possible!). If you're a fan of delicious Thai, then I challenge you to try Emerald. They're sooo much better than Natalie or any other Thai cuisine on the Westside!!
I went to eat at this place with my family and it is the worst food the restaurant is dirty and they take a long time to serve you The prices are too high for such a poor quality of food
