I hadn't been to Culver City since the pandemic started, but it has transformed into a much hipper, hotter neighborhood. BB is a cozy mixology bar with a rooftop that fills up fast. Drinks are pricey ($15+ cocktails), but tasty. My tip is to get to the bar early, get some real estate, and then send someone downstairs to the market dining to grab some snacks to bring upstairs. My one criticism is that the only restroom (gender neutral) is not in the bar, but located downstairs in the market next to the pizza place. Lots of other places nearby for a cocktail crawl. AC is absolutely awesome!!! Had a flipping blast & can’t wait to come back! Had tequila shots - without training wheels, cuz I’m an adult. Salt & lime isn’t necessary! Seriously, this is my fav place in Cali! ??

A proper bar with a proper cocktail program. Whether you order off the menu, ask for something off the cuff, or just pick a spirit of choice the entire staff of Bar Bohemien will take care of you.It can be casual or higher end, it's what you make of it. Whatever your vibe A.C. and DeAndre has got you covered in conversations and libations.And as mentioned before it's a proper cocktail bar and not the bar at Chili's or CPK, so the prices and quality will reflect it. Caroline, the owner/author, posted kind things about this place and I went once because of her blog's post, then I went back two more times -- one of which, my birthday -- because this bar is that amazing!Imagine you see the Citizen's Public Market sign in the same font as the Citizen Kane cover text, and then (staying in theme) you've stepped into the Xanadu of food-lovers and alcohol enthusiasts. Bar Bohemian so happens to be located on the rooftop giving it's above-ground, outdoor speak-easy vibe. It is dimly lit, filled with people, and you may locate a cocktail by the name of "Rosebud" on the menu... you'll have to find out for yourself.In the thrice times I visited, I can say the cocktails were excellent (Old Fashioned lovers, unite!), well priced, the average wait was 3-6 minutes trying to get through to bartenders, the Bar Bohemian team is always friendly, and I always have an amazing time. The drink menu has several great options, however the bartenders are of a kind that you tell them what/how you're feeling and they manage to serve magnificence in a glass -- they know what they're doing.I know I'll be back, it's just a matter of time.
