Great Birthday celebration. Wonderful menu choices for all tastes. Excellent service. Everyone totally enjoyed. Been coming here since they opened 25 years and will continue to do so.
The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were excellent, but the service not as much. We sat at our table for nearly 20 mins with no waiter in sight, not even to fill our water glasses. When he finally did take our order, we didn't see him again until it was time for the check, as the kitchen staff brought out our food. There were only a few other tables seated, so it is tough to dismiss the negligence on a busy night. The food, however, was done beautifully and would come back again.
Akasha is our go to place. Great variety of delicious food and mixed cocktails, pleasant indoor and outdoor seating, friendly service. High quality all around, and priced reasonably enough that you can relax.
Tasty American food with some Italian and East Indian flair. Great place to eat for any meal. Excellent wine list & cocktails. Cool urban setting in Culver City owned & operated by chef Akasha Richmond.

Absolutely delicious meal. Beautifully prepared and presented fish and veggies. Kids loved it too! Great value for very high quality food, easy going service and a lovely, open space.
Akasha is our go-to restaurant in Culver City, it's always reliably good. We like to order the specials which feature seasonal and innovative preparations. We also liked that they offer curated non-alcoholic beverages beside the usual lemonade and ice tea.
We were a group of six, and were seated on the back patio. The service was absolutely outstanding. I can honestly say that our server Savannah and the gentleman who bussed the table went above and beyond, anticipating needs and making sure we were all good. Everybody was happy with their food and there was a good selection of choices catering to lots of dietary needs (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan etc). The only slightly negative thing I could say is that the fabric shades did not adequately cover the table and as the sun moved we ended up getting very hot, but we were there for a while and had a great time!
