I don't come to this side of town and didn't know whst to expect. The ambiance is friendly, the wide open airy space during covid was a big plus. The food was off the hook! My favorite plate was the beef and broccoli plate. With my first bite I bit into a bursting flavor of ginger. WAS not expecting that!! It was super YUMMY . The service was awesome, the server checked on us many times to refill our water. If your ever driving by West Covina, stop by this great resteraunt, you may have to loosen your pants a little from getting full, when you leave.P.S GOOGLE SAYS ITS CLOSED BUT ITS NOT.
I went to eat Birthday meal with friends (6adults and2kids)on Saturday March 26th.When they served us drinking water we smelled something but we thought it should be okay and we got rid of smell by adding some tea in it.Their food was delicious and we had good time.On Sunday we started to have food poisoning.We had symptoms from moderate to severeVomiting high fever headache and diarrhea.Only one adult that drank only hot tea and 2kids that drank soda didn’t have symptoms.Today(Wednesday) I’m writing this review I still having diarrhea and feel nauseated, my friend’s mom suffered the most because she has stomach ulcer added up with this Food Poisoning is too much for her.So people going to have mealplease order hot tea or sodaplease do not drink regular water that they serve you.
Too crowded, doesn't look very clean and staff not very attentive. Noodles was super dry, we thought they forgot to pour sauce on top, but waiter said that was it. They put a lot of tables in such a small place that there is hardly any straight aisle to walk, rather, you have to zigzag to get to your table. This is not safe should there be an emergency.
Delicious pan fried noodles. Great portions, will be coming back for more! Pork chops were delicious as well
It's always a fabulous time eating here.. they are always attentive and the food is generously portioned. I have yet to find something I don't like. I really love this place.

Townsent is a hit or a miss. I guess it depends who is manning the kitchen and who is taking your order. Today for lunch the food sucked. I ordered for 2 people, 1000 year pork, crispy fried shrimp, stir fried clams with ginger sauce and Kung Pao scallops. The 1000 year pork was a little chewy, normally it should melt in your mouth. The ginger clams and scallops had no flavor at all, we had to spice it up ourselves. It tasted like it was just boiled in water. The steam rice was soggy and looks like it’s been steamed way too long. The only thing I enjoyed was my hot tea. The waiter never checked on us at his own. We had to whistle him down. Maybe their food and services at night is a better hit. All I know is that I had good dining experience with them in the past. But today. It really sucked!

Totally enjoyed their food everything we ordered was good. Although they need more parking space or maybe we should go during not so busy hours.
