Service, ambiance, and food are great. They have some of the best fish tacos, ceviches and aguachiles I've ever had, and that is why we keep coming back.
First timer. Worst chili relleno. It was thick and eggy the chili itself was wilted and chewy. The best thing I had was an Al a cart Quesabirria taco . The birria was just like my grandmothers 11/10. Rice and beans were just as good . Service was great and food was out quick.This restaurant is one of the few that still does outdoor dinning which was a plus during the surge . They got space heaters for the cooler weather. Music and TV outside .

Friendly hard working staff! Food was delicious ( Chile Verde& Chile relleno& hard shell beef taco) cucumber margarita was incredible. Rice and beans were very good. Complimentary chips and salsa was fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back. They have great menu choices. Thank you
This place never disappoints. Cold beer, great prices, spicy salsa, crispy chips and great food selection. I had camarones sarandeados today, bomb. I am Paisa af, I know good Mexican food and this spot is legit.
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around the area. They have the best margaritas, I highly recommend the mango one. I’ve tried so many plates and haven’t been disappointed. The handmade corn tortillas are also so delicious! The staff makes you feel right at home, they are always so kind and personable. You can’t go wrong with great food and amazing service.
This place is a hidden gem. My sister lives blocks away from it and has my family hooked on their great M-F $9.99 lunch specials. They have a grilled fish on that menu that is to DIE for! ?? It is sautéed in butter and garlic and smells just as Heavenly as it looks. I get it with HOMEMADE corn tortillas that are SO GOOD as well. We always tip the tortilla maker too.
Very nice place. The food was really good and reasonable. The watermelon margarita was the first and best that I've ever tasted. I only gave 4 stars because it took our waiter some time to bring our check and we had to get his attention. Would definitely go again!
1st at El Camichin. Great location in Downtown Covina. Greeted at the door , gave us a great selection of seating. Covid guidelines in place, I like that. They have 4 big screen TV, so I got watch college football. Full bar, will have to try a margarita or a mojito on another day. Had the bowl of menudo con pata with chile toreados . Tasted great . Nice red color, no smell, very important, really hot ,which I like. I would return and try a different item. Chips and salsa was fresh and tasty. Can't wait to go back.
