Great deli, The pastrami sandwich was very good, unfortunately no longer on the menu.Meatball sandwich is great when hot.I had 2 yesterday 6-2-22The 1st one was great.Sent my son for another one and came half cold don't know what happened ?
The Lasagna and Garlic bread was delicious! Service was good, even though it was crowded. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The place is small. I had a nice experience.
Stopped by for lunch, had the corned beef sandwich special.Good > generous portion of meat, good rye bread, 2 pickle spearsBad > coleslaw was sour, replaced with potato salad which was goodWill come back.
Well damn, went here today with a coworker who was raving how good this place was, went for a Pastrami sandwich But apparently they're so good they were sold, so Instead I got a roast beef sandwich, let me just tell you that was the best roast beef sandwich ever! No fat and so tender! Great place to get a amazing sandwich!!!! Thank you!
Its all about the sauce.I worked at the Los Angeles Deli in the 70's, try Papa D's BBQ sauce, maybe with ham n swiss cheeze or homemade meatballs.
I’ve been going here for years. Today I ordered 3 sandwiches. Two of them only had one layer of meat with tons of mustard and Mayo. We paid almost 40.00 for bread with mustard and mayonnaise. I called and they told me they knew who made them, hopefully they’ll be better next time. Very disappointed.
If you haven't entered this establishment in search of a well-made Deli Sandwich, you are definitely missing out on one of Covina Valley's best secret places to eat and enjoy. It's located on a stretch of San Bernardino Road which is mostly made up of automotive repair shops and small factories, which means you definitely need to be on the lookout to find it , if you don't use Google Maps. But once inside you are in a Deli-lover's oasis being greeted by a friendly, helpful and professional staff. You'll also find prepackaged aluminum tins of Lasagna to take home for a hearty meal.Go and enjoy!
If you like people looking at you with a side eye, or an over priced pastrami dip, this is your place. I used to love the place, but now I get looked at as if I'm a hoodlum. I will not be going back and suggest that if you want pastrami Go Somewhere Else!!!
Capri Deli is a SoCal staple! When I think of top casual food in SoCal I think Capri Deli, La Tolteca, In n Out, Tommy's, and Fosselman's ice cream. You can't go wrong with they're pastrami dip (pastrami mustard and pickles), Italian sausage sandwich (most tender sausage ever, smothered a marinara sauce and topped with provolone), or the turkey pastrami cold (it's like a peppered turkey comes with lettuce, tomato, provolone and mayo) Simply Amazing!
My Director bought lunch for the entire department today based off the online catering menu our order was to include a beverage we never received the beverage someone is supposed to call back they informed us they have changed their menu but haven’t updated their website or their catering menus in store I explain since it is posted they should honor by providing was actually posted she told us for additional fees we could have the beverage I have still been pending a callback from the supervisor with no response she also mentioned prices were subject to change which we acknowledge but nothing that they would be changing the menu items please review attached photo
