We went around 5:30 and they were closing early so we ordered our veggie pho to-go. The soup was pretty great and I liked that they gave us a lot of broccoli !!One down-side was we actually went to the park to eat the pho and realized it was quite difficult to just pour the soup into the full bowel so that was inconvenient. I'm sure this problem is irrelevant if you eat it at home :'). Definitely coming back at an earlier time to get a dine-in experience as well !
Best Pho I have yet to have in Orange County. The restaurant is nice but nothing fancy. The staff is super friendly and this is the type of place the eventually learn you by name. I see a lot of repeat customers here around lunch much like myself so they are doing something right. Prices are good also and I have not had a dish I didn’t like. I strongly recommend.
We’ve been here a few times already and Bruce is the BEST! He has a connection with every person who walks through the door, and somehow remembers every person and every conversation he’s had with them. He’s the reason we keep going back and have only had pho here for the past few months. Nothing beats someone who is as personable and caring as he is. And the pho! So. Friggin. Delicious. Huge bowl for a great price, and Bruce always remembers that I like mine with no vegetables and extra lemons and the side! 10000/10 recommend!!
This place is the greatest! There's a lot of TLC that goes into the food, and the service, the food is SOOO good, you'll go back for more. My wife and I come down from the bay area once or twice a year and we eat here at least twice before we head back home.Bruce the owner is on top of things and he'll recommend certain items on the menu that you may not have thought to order but we have never been dissatisfied! Really only "extremely" satisfied! Going for lunch tomorrow on our last day of vacation.
Nothing fishy about this place. It's a small family run business. Blame covid for the price increases and there are sign posted to make you aware of the increase. it's the best food and most reasonable prices in town. if you cant afford a 11 dish then don't buy or complain about it. These reviews are for the food not whiners.
Ordered chicken fried rice to go.The rice was old and stale (you know the way rice tastes after it sits in your refrigerator for 3 day's, hard and cruchy) really bad. They elected to give me my money back instead of making the order again, they said the rice was OK. I thought it was strange that they never even considered my opinion. They told me not to come back again.
No Pho tonight...this time spring rolls, popcorn chicken, egg rolls and beef garlic noodles-so flavorful...yum!Thanks Bruce!!!
So let's start with the large Won Ton soup....There's actually won Ton's in there!!! Like many, lots of them❤️ and, they're BIG and full of won ton stuff!! And there was also pork, chicken, shrimp and bok choy in my soup lots!!! I was in Won Ton and egg roll heaven, because those are freaking great too!! Why in the Won Ton have I not gotten this sooner❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Honestly, Wok-In and you're family.Bruce and his family are amazing in ensuring their customers are family with the most delicious food, huge portions, freshest offerings, and incredible pricing. We've both dined in and ordered out - both experiences and quality are incomparable. Being new to the area, we were in search of a new go to for homey Vietnamese/ Chinese and found it here. They have the best pho, orange chicken, fried rice, spring rolls, and more! This is a local small family owned and operated business so please treat them as your own because .. they will always then treat you as family!
Had a bizarre experience here...ordered a wonton noodle soup, menu says $7.99 but I was charged $11+. Dude behind the counter said it's because of all the prices of ingredients going up and they had to increase the price. But really? By that much for a simplistic dish? At least be upfront about it or have some updated pricing. The guy didn't really give me any warning or anything - just straight up charged $11. The entire experience was just extremely fishy and suspicious. The noodle soup was good but I probably won't be going back there.
