Below average tacos. Even the chips and salsa was disappointing.
I had never been here before and I Had a great chopped salad with chicken. Someone else in my group got one with a grilled fish. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and and the delicious cooked meat I loved the seasonings! It was very easy to order and very clean and neat. I usually go to Rubio's fish tacos and they have very similar types of dishes. This was amazing I will be back! I live in San Diego and unfortunately there were 3 in my area and they are all permanently closed so I'm not sure what's going on. I'm super bummed!
Had me on hold for 10 min. Called again and put on hold again. Frustrating. Called 3x and line busy.
So glad this location opened back up. Food was excellent. Service was great. There's seating inside and lots right out front.

What can I say? Wahoo’s is great and the location at South Coast Plaza was nice and convenient for us. The food was good, the wait wasn’t bad and the food was prompt.
First plate fish tacos with all rice. Second plate cheese enchilada with white rice & spicy beans also fish taco on the side. Chips & salsa with guacamole.
The staff are very pleasant as they always are. But this last time, we had to wait a long time for our food. And I mean really a long time. And the food I had, the bajaladas, it was just okay. My husband got the chicken taco meal and he was very happy with it.
Great little Mexican restaurant in the South Coast Plaza mall. Just ate there on Tuesday after shopping and their fish tacos are great. They also have shrimp and chicken, but the fish are great. Get the combo with rice and beans; it's a very filling meal.They have a lot of other things to try on the menu, but the fish tacos are the best.
Located in the middle of the mall on the 2nd floor. Try the Hawaiian burrito.
