Words cannot describe.. their milkshakes are absolutely beyond wonderfully delicious. I wish I lived closer 'cause I can't stop thinking about this place! The flavor creativity is very impressive.
Talk about addicted! We absolutely love this place! These aren't your ordinary milkshakes. They're insanely delish. My fave is the Street but I do love the Donkey Kong too! These shakes are handcrafted pieces of art. The owner Patrick and staff are super friendly and the shop decor is very unique. A shake bar and lounge with basketball pics and 90s R&B vibes! If you're a shake lover, you can't sleep on The Straw. You gotta try em', promise they'll be your go-to.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Insanely good milkshake creations! I've had so many different ones and everyone is incredible, true artisan work, hand crafted. Super cool vibe. Owner is really friendly and makes everyone feel welcome.
In a word, SPECTACULAR! This place single handedly reimagines the milkshake. I've always loved them, but after having them at this place, everything else is a let down. What made this place so special is that I wanted to actually finish the milkshake! It wasn't too sweet and I didn't get tired of the flavor. It was just right and I will DEFINITELY be visiting again. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Highly recommend. Should also mention that the owner was there when I went and he was a very humble strait forward guy. Happy to see that there are still small business owners following their dreams. Makes me more than happy to support this business and recommend that others do to!
Ive had an amazing expirence here as a first timer. The shake which I ordered was really good, which was Bangkok Betty. Thai mango and coconut cream. Which I've had a very great conversation with the owner, which I believed whom he is named Patrick.
The Straw: Modern Milkshakes is a delightful little milkshake shop in Costa Mesa. From the eclectic, charming decor, to the delicious and truly creative milkshake options, I wouldn’t ask for much more from a milkshake shop.
I found this place on Google. The vibe is awesome, the workers are good and the prices aren't bad. I live a half an hour away but I will be going there again.
