Very bland food. Rice had no taste. The lettuce and tomato was bland too. Hot sauce tasted wierd. No humuus! You have to pay extra. The worst falafel platter I had in my entire life.

Love halal guys!! was so glad that they came over to the west coast and expanded. Employees are always friendly and the quick service is always a must here - that's how theyre supposed to operate. Love their white sauce and BBQ sauce but BEWARE of their hot sauce. Their fries are made to order, and besides the falafel, that's the only thing they really fry. I bring that up just because you can really taste the freshness and "cleanliness" of the oil that they use to fry their French fries.FOOD HACK: anytime I get extra protein on the platter or gyro, I ask for the extra protein on the side and put it all on top of my fries, add the white sauce, some bbq and a little bit of the hot sauce for the kick and boom! Got yourself some Halal Fries.
The second I place a foot into this establishment I felt a wave of energy come at me by David, it almost completely knocked me down of how positive he was. I have never felt this welcomed in my life. After being greeted by him and seeing how much of master chef he is cooking it most definitely makes me wants to come back I will only loved to be served by the one and only David. The way he drizzled the scrumptious rich creamy white sauce made it appear to be a piece of art I'd like to call it Picasso himself. I wish I could give this more than just 5 stars he was very friendly, talkative, and outgoing more people like this should be hired!!! I have never been greeted like this until David. He seems to be such a hard worker. Coming to Halal Guys for my combo has dug me out of deep depression. I recommend anyone to try that! California Wok said the orange chicken was "made to order" I saw them reheating already prepared chicken in less than 2 minutes. It was inedible, tuff and gross.Bummer our power has been out for 2 days.I am never going here again. Still hungry ?
I don't place blame on the poor service from the single person working. He was obviously over-worked and under-staffed. No acknowledgment that I was even there as I patiently waited for almost ten minutes, so I left.Amid staffing shortages nation-wide, larger businesses need to increase wages to attract more talent and keep their businesses fully-staffed. If that means cutting the multi-million salaries/bonuses/options for those at the top, that should happen. So far, halal guys doesn't seem to want to do this.I've frequented this location before as the food is good, but I don't plan on returning again anytime soon.
