I don’t understand the green corn tortillas for the tacos…. They were very weird and totally distracted you from the flavor of the taco. Unfortunately the flavor of the tacos weren’t good either. The Best of the West fish taco was good but the tortilla itself kind of ruined it. The carnitas was just plain pork that I’m guessing was just braised or boiled and the sauce on the taco wasn’t good. Al Pastor was ok and might have been tolerable but again, the tortilla ruined the whole thing. I finished the fish taco but the others I’m tossing. Very sad! I heard good things and was excited

Definitely a good spot for lunch or dinner. I wouldn’t really classify this as traditional Mexican food but it is still really good. The prices are also a little bit more than the Mexican joints down the street. The food is very flavorful and comes quickly. I recommend the Mesa burrito if you are stumped on what to get. Be prepared for a line in the evening and congested parking lot.

This is a good place to bring someone who is new to the area. I feel that if you live near this restaurant, as I do, that there are other places that are better for tacos, honestly. That being said, their presentation and food is very good,

So yummy!! This places was fantastic!! Nice customer service and it was quick to get our food. The guacamole was yummy and the fish tacos were on point. I really like the fact they had a small salsa bar, I found this useful when trying new flavors. I highly recommend coming here and when I visit again I will be back.

Not only amazingly delicious Mexican food but unique. This place has a lobster burrito with spinach, mushrooms, and jack cheese. It is incredible. We have been going for the Pozole for years. It is a delicious, piping hot pork soup with just enough heat, spices, vegetables, hominy, and shredded cabbage and lime on top. They always have new creations but literally everything on the menu is great so you cannot miss and will not run out of fun items to order when you go back again and again. Friendly staff. Lines move quickly.

Having traveled to Mexico since a young boy from Tijuana to Guanajuato, Taco Mesa is a restaurant that is an imitation of authenticity. Those who prefer a healthier, culturally appropriated, mexican-style made dish then this place is for you. As for being authentic, it's safe to disagree with that statement. Every dish is overpriced to the point you spend $40 for two. Finding dirt in my ice was a surprise. Cauliflower in my "authentic" Mexican rice was unexpected. Nevertheless, Taco Mesa succeeds in it's aesthetic in providing a comfortable place to dine after a corporate meeting or simply with a group of friends. If you have the extra expense and some time to lose I definitely recommend Taco Mesa. As for those looking for a true Mexican authentic restaurant, look elsewhere.

They've got a lot of different offerings on their menu, and they all taste good! They're daily specials are cool too. Did you know they have breakfast?? And health juices? They're flan is great and so are their churros (my favorite churros around).Their blackened chicken burrito is my go to, and even their nachos are awesome.

I came here for Taco Tuesday and think I found a new favorite place ? You might hear “vegetarian taco” and think meh… as a vegetarian, I’ve gotten use to settling for whatever is available. But here, not only are there great TT deals, but this was hands down the best taco I ever had!!! The flavors, the jalapeño salsa… just sublime. Thank you so much Taco Mesa?? (I would’ve taken a picture but inhaled them too quickly. They are beautiful works of art though ?)

Costa Mesa taquaria in Los Angeles. I heard that it is a popular shop among locals. The tortillas were characteristic green and very bright. The lobster tacos were very delicious. The carnitas tacos were also the best. If you want to eat in the store, you need a vaccination certificate.

Food is pretty good, some Mexican classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.
