Bought the Carrot Cake it tasted like it was a Raisin Cake! Way too many golden raisins it over powered the cake. By the time I removed all the raisins off my slice there was nothing left to eat. Please less raisins and more cake.
This review is for SusieCakes’ customer service, specifically regarding the employee named Heidi. I had an order mix up and didn’t have any of my order confirmation and she was SO patient with me on the phone, going through all the steps of trying to recover the info, even following up and leaving a sweet voicemail. Couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! #blessed
So my wife, made a slight mistake with the cupcake order for Mother’s Day, by placing the order to be picked up the Sunday after Mother’s Day! However, Noe, who was the Susie Cakes assistant helping me, was so great, and was so very helpful. The was nothing that was too much for him to help fix our order up so that I could take the cupcakes I needed for Mother’s Day. Noe, is alway so very helpful when I have been picking up orders in the Past. Susie Cakes, should be delighted to have him as an employee…
Cute cupcake shop, with variety of flavors. We tried 4 of them Flourless chocolate cake, lemon, Coconut, but my favorite was the brown sugars upside down pineapple cake, it was delicious but I had to eat in small portions, they are VERY sweet. Which works for my sweet tooth. The cupcakes are moist. We enjoyed our treats.
Worst cake ever. Old and bad taste. Don't waste your money for nothing. Buy cake from any grocery store
RIP mini cheesecake, molasses cookie, mini pies. For some reason, they no longer offer a lot of their usual goods, which were my faves. Their display case seemed less varied, mostly containing cakes, cupcakes and iced sugar cookies, but those aren't my jam. I guess it's been a long time since I visited SusieCakes as they said they stopped selling those items for a while. I actually ordered pies for Thanksgiving last Nov but haven't stopped in otherwise during the pandemic. Boo. Will keep getting their yummy pies.
What can I say? You all know how great these cakes are, but the service! I am going to keep coming here just to see Heidi. ? She is absolutely a delight and is exclusively concerned with making sure the people who come through the door are happy.

I drove over 1 hour to the Susiecakes in Costa Mesa to get a slice of the Summerberry cake just to find out it's not offered by the slice. WHHHYYYYYYY!! You can't even imagine my disappointment. But Cynthia was AWESOME she gave me the best customer service I forget about my disappointment. Best decision having her part of your team. People like her is what will keep me coming back. THANK YOU CYNTHIA YOU ROCK!!!
