Best service I have received in years actually! Greeted at the table within a minute with complimentary chips and salsa and some waters. Always got refills on our drinks/ water before asking which seems not to be a standard at a lot of places anymore. In the couple days we were here visiting we ate here twice lol I wish it was closer to home. Food was fresh and tasty. I will be coming back any time I’m in the area
What are friends for...to send you many miles away to supposedly get the best fried tilapia, Mexican combo style. Why when you get it right here in Costa Mesa??!! And it tastes if not equivalent to then better than!! Boy, am glad I found this place. I didnt dine in because I had a religious family member with me, and I know alcohol is served inside. Lesson learned: bring no relatives next time. How are the margaritas there, does anyone know? Still hungry? Stop reading and go get your food...
Just want to make it clear that the food was tasty and I would recommend it.The gf and I are just used to the older location on Bristol (Super Antojitos). We came here when we found out the older location moved. We LOVE the chilaquiles at the other location. This location makes them with tortilla strips instead of triangles. Not a big deal, but the eggs were cooked separately and placed on top of the chilaquiles instead being cooked together. The flavor was fine, just looked different.We also liked the appetizer chips with beans and salsa at the old location. This place doesn't do beans and the salsa was slightly bitter. Not bad, just different from what we expected.Again, the food was fine. Our opinion is just skewed because we were expecting the exact same food as the older location.
Stopped in for takeout when I was nearby. My tacos and enchilada with tomatillo sauce were outstanding and they included chips and two different sauces with my order. You can't get a Mexican meal of the quality they serve anywhere else. The menu includes some great special dishes that I look forward to trying.
Been going here for 20 years and their food has been consistently my favorite.
Hidden gem in Costa Mesa. Drove past this place so many times and it wasn’t till a friend recommend this place that I stopped by. Now I’m hooked! Everything I’ve tried was great. The staff is also amazing and very friendly. Love this spot
This is the restaurant I met my fiancé’s parents to ask them for her hand. Great food.
