Came here for Sunday brunch and was very pleased. Made reservations in advance and seated pretty quick. Tables started to fill up, so come early. Food was delicious and many good cocktails available.
Was out running errands on a Saturday morning and thought I'd swing by for a bite, we had been looking at their menu for a few weeks so it was a good opportunity. Pulled and directed strait to their valet parking - thought this was a little strange, we are talking about 11am in Costa Mesa, there is no parking shortage. Asked the attendant where the self-park was - they told me to go park in Wild Goose's lot.So I did. Then I went to Wild Goose for brunch. They make a great Bloody Mary.Two stars for the good advice from valet guy, Wild Goose was a plesent surprise.
Nice place. The staff was generous. They did a good job. But the food was bland and very Americanized. Definitely not an authentic Mexican taste. Almost seems like a healthier choice of Mexican food. Nice place though.

My experience at Playa Mesa was so much fun! We loved everything we ordered, and our server Josele was the BEST! He was honestly what made our experience at Playa Mesa as good as it was! We ordered the Birria tacos and Carne Asada steak tacos and both were delicious! On Mondays they said margaritas are $8 and are made with fresh fruit. We will definitely be back!
The food was good and the ambiance was fun and relaxing at the same time. My family took me here for my birthday brunch and everything was great. It's was a pretty busy place, which just told me that it's popular. But the service was good even though the servers were quite busy.
Nice spot in costa mesa. It was full on Sunday so arrive early or have a reservation. The bar does not require a reservation (which is were we sat). Valet parking only ($4). I love the mimosa package which included a bottle of champagne and 3 different juices for $24. It was well worth it. I had the Benedict dish and my husband had the chilaquiles. I would pass on the chilaquiles I was just not a fan of the sauce. The Benedict dish was really good ?. The pinneaple mimosa was my favorite
Good food. Great atmosphere. Music was jammin topped off a perfect night out with friends. Drinks were fine most definitely not perfect. Will come again.
